@amurphy245 yea i have to figure out what im gonna do with my steam games because there are some that do not work or if they do they have issues,i might convert some of the games to consoles
i dont like ubuntu that much anymore i prefer fedora and KDE
i use paint.net on windows
pinguy is a lot like linux mint in some respects
the reason people dont use linux is because of the different installer packages and its hard to configure but im pretty sure dell do offer linux on some machines
if i was using an older machine id avoid KDE or GNOME and use XFCE or something similar
Hey bro, fantastic video! I learned about Ubunto 2.0 from you a long time ago. I enjoyed using it as well, the only problem I had with it was Skype but other than that it worked good. Trying to configure programs to run in dos was a pain :=O
@lukemorse1 yea skype works real good now and yea the file structure is different in linux thats why dos is a little bit of a pain to use but once you get used to it its all good
Ubuntu has gotten pretty bulky and slow, hasn't it? Last time I tried it (I think it was either 10.04 or 11.04, not sure, don't have the CD here right now) it crashed a lot and stuff so I got rid of it.
Linux is a great OS though (if they fix the random crashes), but it lacks stuff that makes it usable for me as a full OS (proper Wacom Tablet drivers and perhaps Photoshop, even though gimp is all right). But I reckon, for the average person Linux provides more than enough, and its free! ;)
Shit man, I've gotta get back into checking out Linux Distros. I haven't installed anything like that since Ubuntu (previously I had Knoppix installed). I've dual booted for a while but then didn't use Linux for a while so on my next fresh install I didn't bother. Cool stuff though! That OS looks great!
you have a new sub!

Wacom tablets ARE supported under Linux. (I run Mandriva and I have a Wacom tablet.)
