@mannic55 well listen to this, it's not like it's "flight of the bumblebee" or anything, this is a simple song. anyone should be able to work it out by ear. if your really that much of a novice, then look up tabs, they usually have the strum pattern over the chords/tabs with marks similar to arrows pointing up or down. and you don't even have to work it out by ear, you have a video here, look at it.

ya i agree but thats no to say its that easy for everyone. That guy was obviously new at it and only asked for a little help. So then you respond like you did and make him feel like an idiot. Thats not fair. Given the right or wrong person (depending on how you see it), a response like that could scare them off from asking questions and it stonewalls their ambition to learn. There are no dumb questions, only dumb mistakes. Not asking because of fear would be a dumb mistake.

It was okay. But I'd like to encourage you to work on your fingering technique for barred chords; you really gotta get that thumb behind the neck and bend your fingers inward more. Although I think the real issue is from how you finger your barred Cmaj and Dmaj chords and then transition from those. For those chords, try just using two fingers, barring with the pointer like usual, but also barring the d, g, and b strings with your ring finger, kinda like playing a lazy power chord.
