Germany isnt the basis of the CF. CF is the basis of the CF. Canada uses German tanks and jeeps, but produces their own APC's. We get jets from America and make our own warships :)
PR is currently developing a lot of new factions to try to mix things up, the CF will be added sooner or later. Probally version 9.0. In version 8.5 they are adding the Russian Forces. Later on there will be Polish, Dutch, Israel, Germany, Australia, Norwegian and of course Canada. Long list of new factions for later releases which is what is great about PR, every release they add a couple new maps, new faction(s) and some fixes. Mixing things up to keep it interesting.

You don't buy it, its a modification for a game called Battlefield 2. It's free to download IF you got the game BF2.
