When I lived at home, I pretty much had all the privacy I wanted. My parents never really bothered me from ages 9-21. I never did anything for them to worry about, and I think they're "hands-off" approach helped. But my family is just like that. We don't really get in each other's business.

It's kinda funny that the bad kids always get away with stuff, but the good kids' parents are usually the paranoid ones.

Maybe they wonder whom you're talking to in your room... jk.
