Thanks for sharing! ur right about there not being any blogs, I spent awhile searching the web for blogs on studying abroad in china and I finally found urs, so really appreciate it. I'm planning on studying abroad next summer :)
Beijing is where the great firewall is located and the most political city, so if there is one place where they will block your illegal internet browsing, it would be Beijing :P
But I have experienced that it is just as bad anywhere else in China, Accessing blocked sites is always a pain.
I'm going to study in China very soon, like next week, and I'm so nervous and exited at the same time! :D It's nice to see some vlogs about students going to china, then I won't feel so 'alone' if you know what I mean.
Btw you're english is very good! I was kind of surprised when you said you came from the netherlands.. haha
I'm using my own home PC with remote desktop to get access to blocked sites. This is not really that efficient though. If I were you I would go for a paid VPN for "fast" connection or a free proxy if you don't mind the slower speeds
