I LIKE! I know this was recorded recently, but there's a particular graininess, blur and color desaturation that makes it look like a vintage Hendrix film. How do you get this visual effect? Do you actually have an old camera or have you used some kind of video effect/filter? Thanks for posting! Stay experienced!

lol, Well, I was told it was filmed with an old RCA S-VHS camcorder. An ancient model, of which I have no information except that it came from Sears. On top of that the club used 15 and 20 watt refrigerator lights and that was for the stage. Very dark otherwise.

I was told that the camera has horrible low light recording, but looks pretty good outdoors in the sun. Anything else was probably accidental, in trying to get the picture to look better.

I also forgot, it was artificially "up-res'd", blown up and cropped to fit 720P, which may have helped with the cheesy-ness factor.
