Flashbell, Conway had 4 children, Michael from his first marriage; from his second marriage to Mickey - Kathy, Joni and Jimmy. None from his third marriage to Dee. Mickey and her children are all wonderful too. Kathy & Joni can sing well too, Jimmy prefers to stay in the background. Michael is very very handsome. He has enough of his father's looks and voice to do some of my favorites of his dad's songs. I am always happy to hear the offspring of an artist do a good job with their parents' music and also their own. We met him back in the 90's and he was such a gentleman. seen this guy at rupp arena in lexington ky ... he did a fabulous job. better than this clip actually. if you closed your eyes you could imagine yourself at a conway twitty's concert. it was unreal. i was never a fan of conways until this night.

Loretta, Conway started out in rock 'n' roll but his true love was country, and it called to him because he wasn't getting the satisfaction in his soul from performing rock 'n' roll. He finally made the switch to country. Hank Jr. started out real country, in his dad's footsteps, which I love that early stuff of his. But that wasn't his calling either. He bucked the system all those years ago & switched to country rock, his true love. Both Conway & Hank Jr followed their heart

I can clearly see a resemblance in his face, and can hear "Conway" in his voice.
Joni looks more like him though.
There will never be another Conway though, never.... I saw him in concert in Palm Beach, Florida.......What a guy!! I couldn't tare my eyes away!!

Michael is very very handsome. He has enough of his father's looks and voice to do some of my favorites of his dad's songs. I am always happy to hear the offspring of an artist do a good job with their parents' music and also their own. We met him back in the 90's and he was such a gentleman. He sang some songs of his own and they were very good. Thanks for posting. - Paula

seen this guy at rupp arena in lexington ky ... he did a fabulous job. better than this clip actually. if you closed your eyes you could imagine yourself at a conway twitty's concert. it was unreal. i was never a fan of conways until this night.

It's a wonderful song and you have a good voice. I am still a diehard fan of Conway, have autographs, attended concerts, fan club member, etc for over 40 years. I don't think you sing like Conway and that's a good thing, you have your own identity. May God give you special blessings.

No prob...but I consider Hank Jr. country. He does get a little rocky sometimes but hey....I like Skynyrd too. And I don't want to see anyone on stage drunk or high either. I like the music and do not necessarily agree with all the rest of the things they do. I also agree that Hank's old stuff (pre 75) was probably his best material ever.

The reason Conway became country is because he could no longer make it in rock and roll. Country was a real country trubadoor with "Danny Boy" and all the other "Rock Country" songs he performed. How about how Conway loved to talk dirty in songs and sing songs about dirty things? "I'd Love to Lay You Down" a real slow country tear jerker. I guess singing about sex is better than drinking a beer? Listen I got nothing against you but I don't get your comments.

Loretta, Conway started out in rock 'n' roll but his true love was country, and it called to him because he wasn't getting the satisfaction in his soul from performing rock 'n' roll. He finally made the switch to country. Hank Jr. started out real country, in his dad's footsteps, which I love that early stuff of his. But that wasn't his calling either. He bucked the system all those years ago & switched to country rock, his true love. Both Conway & Hank Jr followed their heart

Ok..Hank Jr. does not sound like Conway Twitty. Is he supposed to? Micheal does sound somewhat close to Conway though. Let me tell you something....you don't tug on Superman's cape. Bocephus is Superman when it comes to country. What does Hank Jr. have to do with Conway Twitty or Michael Twitty. I am sure they all think you stink though.

In my humble? opinion this is a very fine rendition of his fathers song and a great tribute. He's obviously NOT his father, but , hey, I'd love to ride those coat tails just the same! Hell , who wouldn't ? That man was just awesome and well loved and respected. Leave Jr. alone. It's very hard to be a Jr in this cruel world of comparisons and insults. Oh, and by the way, I don't really like the iiiyyiiii tri either, but bless him all the same and his daddy too , for all the great years and music.

And my S-I-L,got a big surprise, when he sang "Linda" right to her,

Micahel IS NOT riding his dad's coat tails!!! He's simply letting Conway's fans relive the special memories of a great singer that was taken way too soon!!!!! I met and seen Conway several yrs before he died...I also seen and met Michael and his son Tre at a tribute concert and you will NOT find a nicer family!!! How many frigion Elvis impersonators are there and they almost ALL SUCK!!!!!!! At least Michael is genuine with his tribute to let the fans remember his dad!!!!!!

I met Conway before he died many years ago. I also seen Michael and his son-Conway's grandson, Tre in concert as well and met them..They do a great tribute in Conway's memory! He sounded better back when I seen him..But, he's NOT trying to BE his dad-he's simply helping the fans relive the memories through his tribute! Let me tell you-TRE-who is sexy as hell..Has a combination voice of Conway/Elvis and so help me-is the young fire-cracker his granddad was!!!! You will not meet a nicer family!!!!
