  • Like Father, Like Son. Great!

  • what do you mean he sounds OK he is terrific better than most of the new singers today

  • he sings ok but he's no conway, should maybe do his own songs , but he is a cutie!!!

  • He looks like Wayne Newton LMAO!!!

  • Yes, gorgeous.. but don't sound like his dad..

  • damn is he ever Handsome. nice voice also. NOT Conway's but really nice. hope he keeps it up with the singing it will keep his Dad alive. there's NO ONE as good as Conway Twitty though!!!

  • Nice tribute to his dad, not bad at all. This is a good way to keep CT's memory alive. I think his fans would expect this from a son who is shares so much the likeness of his father

  • this one great video by mike twitty in memory of his late father

  • i think its awsome that he chose to do this and its not like hes a bad singer but nothing on the origional and the one and only conway twitty :)

  • i see the family resemblence. Who better to pay tribute to a very talented father.

  • He sounds good.. Not quite the same, but he does have a good voice.. does he have any of his ''own'' stuff?

  • He sounds good.. Not quite the same, but he does have a good voice.. does he have any of his ''own'' stuff?

  • Good job Michael, I love your dad and hope you the best.

  • this guy ruend the whole song

  • GOOD JOB YOUNG MAN YOUR DAD WOULD HAVE LOVE IT !! YOUR DAD WAS THE BEST BE PROUD

  • gotta love the Conway!!!! I try and sing this on my page, but there will never be anyone like Conway!! EVER!!

    Ron

  • Wow he looks so much like his daddy... sounds just a little like him.. too

  • I Understand Why He Sings His Daddies Songs....But There Will Never Be Anyone That Does Them like Conway....Michael You Need To Find Your Own Style And Songs....

  • @Lauriesdelight No...Let him do it. He can develop his own style, but don't discourage him from helping us remember.

  • @DixieDog39047 Sorry But Too Many Kids Wanna Imitate Their Famous Parents To get Their Foot In The Door....I Just Said There's Only One Conway twitty And Believe Me I Will Never Ever Forget Him Neither Will His True Fans... :o) I Wasn't Cutting Michael Twitty Down In Anyway....

  • @DixieDog39047 I agree with your comment about "too many kids....." However, Little Twitty is doing us a service in this case. He seems able to hit some of his dad's notes and covers him better than anyone I've heard. Hank Williams Jr., on the other hand, sounds nothing like his father, but had his own career. Whether Little Twitty ever succeeds "on his own" is not relevant to me. I wish him well. But I enjoy hearing his covers.

  • good job michael...keep the fire burning....there will never be another

  • NO one will ever sing as good as Conway

  • Love Conway Twitty. Michael you did a wonderful tribute to your Dad. You sounded so much like him than anyone else but no one can ever take his place.

  • Why haven't we heard anything out of him? He sounds great, not as good as his famous father, but then no one is. I think he did a great job and would love to hear more from him.

  • you are just as good looking as your dad and you are doing him proud

  • :)

  • Ryan Harris, was that you?

  • OMG the voices sound so much alike. i wish i could have seen this. LOVE IT

  • I think you did an excellent job in singing this song.A fan of you and your dads

  • HOLY PISS THAT WAS AWFUL

  • You done your daddy right! You sound so good singing his songs.Don't let anyone tell you different.Keep up the great work!!!

  • Michael has an ok voice, should maybe stick to some new songs. Only Conway could do Hello Darlin.

  • I like michael's version even more than his father's which was exceptional/ Both are great singers. Thank you.

  • Dang, he's almost as good as his daddy! AwesomE!

  • sorry hes not another conway??? likeRonny martin

  • GREAT

  • I love it =0)

  • he sounds better than most of today's country singers... but he's no conway.

  • He sounds so much like his dad. I love hearing Conway sing they both have great voices.

  • My god, you should sing more. I loved ur Father! Always will.

  • I meet him he is an awsome guy

  • Didn't know he had any children other then Joni.

  • @flashbell

Flashbell, Conway had 4 children, Michael from his first marriage; from his second marriage to Mickey - Kathy, Joni and Jimmy. None from his third marriage to Dee. Mickey and her children are all wonderful too. Kathy & Joni can sing well too, Jimmy prefers to stay in the background. To others who are ripping Michael apart, he doesn't claim to be another Conway, he's just doing a tribute to his dad, not trying to impersonate him. There is a difference.

  • As with most male family members, he's inherited his father's timbre and pitch.

  • Michael,

Thankyou so much for giving us more of Conway - I took his death hard - He was such a large part of my life growing up and for so many years - Continue on Michael - God Bless YOU,

  • You are GREAT Michael just like your father was!!! Keep singing and giving us the pleasure of hearing that great voice.

  • OOOH my!! what a sweetie. I swear to you all. I used to date Conway's nephew Marcel Twitty back in the late 70's. He was about 22 and i was 18. Marcel was as HANDSOME as his cousin Michael here is and uncle Conway too!!!

  • try to be you , you are the best, find your own , then there is no measure, you are great ,you will find your own shoes. cyndi

  • @andreweliflanagan - How about you leaving out the vulgarity. You certainly aren't an expert when it comes to what other people might like to hear. Just because it doesn't please you doesn't mean you can be insulting. Michael has a nice voice and I am sure he will be doing more music that he chooses of his own. Anything his dad sang is all right with me. Thanks Tuffy for posting this video.

  • @andreweliflanagan if you could speak to this man he'd probebly slap you just like his dad {my friend} would have

  • Michael this is fantastic. I was one of your fathers biggest fans. His music will live on forever. Please keep up the good work.

  • fantastic brought tears to my eyes r.i.p conway

  • What is the instrument that makes the twanging sound. Back in the 70's you had to have this in a country song to make it legit.

  • @ProjectM555 steel guitar

  • Awesome Awesome Awesome Awesome , u sound like ur dad back in the days man , omg,, wow ! ! ! ! ! ! wow wow,,, i love t,

  • Awesome Job..!!! seen Conway Many times in concert... be 36 in a couple months... his music is still my favorite... great Job Michael... please produce your father music... and let the legend continue.!!!

  • I love this. Where is Michael? I would love for him to make it big. He is good.

  • R.I.P. Conway

  • good job keep up

  • WOW I thought all the best country singers were going extinct but i was wrong

  • Wow... Michael's voice is fantastic. He sings just like his dad.

  • Good Lord, this man is gorgeous!!! I didn't know Conway had a son. Sounds just like him.

  • Good stuff, When you get the chance please take a peak at my channel, There i sang some conway along with other tunes. Enjoy!

    keep up the good work

  • wow he does a great job! he does his dad proud!

  • why is it dreadful ? Im sure he knows it isnt as good as his dads , but he is just doing his best .

  • This is dreadful...

  • The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.He sounds pretty good.

  • he is very good loolking!!!!!!

  • @whiskygirl43 ur wrong girl he's sexy as hell wouldn't u say. i wander if he has ever put anything out of his own material i think he has a damn good voice n his own rite don't u?

  • I can clearly see a resemblance in his face, and can hear "Conway" in his voice.

Joni looks more like him though.

There will never be another Conway though, never.... I saw him in concert in Palm Beach, Florida.......What a guy!! I couldn't tare my eyes away!!

    Geri, from Florida

  • I do hear Conway in his voice, but it will never be as good as his dads!!!!!

I really do not see his dad in his face.

    Good rendition anyway.

  • wow.awsome michael. you do your father justice. please keep singing. great voice

  • Is this Conway Twitty`s son?

  • He sounds great, I would buy is albums....

  • Fantastic.

  • could'nt be more like his dad, just great

  • Michael is very very handsome. He has enough of his father's looks and voice to do some of my favorites of his dad's songs. I am always happy to hear the offspring of an artist do a good job with their parents' music and also their own. We met him back in the 90's and he was such a gentleman. He sang some songs of his own and they were very good. Thanks for posting. - Paula

  • wow, does he look like his dad or what? Great voice!

  • In someways he does sound a lot like his father. Very nice to see him carrying on his fathers music! Doesn't get any better than this folks!

  • There is always someone tryin to knock everythin!

  • Conway was Number 1 In my book!

  • wonderful sounds like his dad

  • seen this guy at rupp arena in lexington ky ... he did a fabulous job. better than this clip actually. if you closed your eyes you could imagine yourself at a conway twitty's concert. it was unreal. i was never a fan of conways until this night.

  • there will never be another

conway twitty i give his son

3 stars for trying to sing like

his late father rest in peace

conway twitty love your fan -

    nichole .

  • check his DNA!! he looks like wayne newton!!

  • you need to ditch the perfect language and it wil help a lot. like instead of doing try doin. Great job anyway.

  • not as good as dad

  • God bless Conway. Rest in Piece

  • I wish he was still here!!!! how did he die???

  • Something to do with a vessel breakin in his stomach...i cant remember. Might google it.

  • Great job! You do your parents proud and you're aren't bad at all in the looks department either.

  • this is the first time i have heard conway son singing and he is really good just wish Conway was still with us. they would have done good together.

  • Awesome bud! I'm not a current country fan but love the old stuff & oldies Rock n Roll also. I didn't realize Conway had a son and you sound great!

  • Conway could never be replaced, but Michael did a great job.

  • Just fantastic, you and your Dad, just great well done, great voice too!

  • It's a wonderful song and you have a good voice. I am still a diehard fan of Conway, have autographs, attended concerts, fan club member, etc for over 40 years. I don't think you sing like Conway and that's a good thing, you have your own identity. May God give you special blessings.

  • you sound exactly like yhour father

  • I think I might have stepped on someone toe's let me explain myself Please LT1HILLINGHOE I had an album by Hank Jr when he first came out long time ago it was really good I loved the album But when he changed and decided to party and everything else he did I personnally did not consider him country anymore he did sell millions of albums I am talking on stage People's personnal lives are their own what they do off stage is none of my business but once they hit that stage they need to be sober

  • No prob...but I consider Hank Jr. country. He does get a little rocky sometimes but hey....I like Skynyrd too. And I don't want to see anyone on stage drunk or high either. I like the music and do not necessarily agree with all the rest of the things they do. I also agree that Hank's old stuff (pre 75) was probably his best material ever.

  • Awesome, Your Father was one of my favorites, He could bring the tears and the smiles all at the same time!GodSpeed Conway always!

    A Fan forever

    The DragonLadyLadyQ4

  • I think I'll hurl now...

  • Than You for posting this song and Thank You Michael for singing it. Your Dad was a great singer and a great man and he is so truely missed. To bad people put down real country musc or compare it to peopel who have to be drunk or high or messed up on pills to get on stage.. to me that is not a true person and I don't ever remember Conway drunk or high or messed up on pills...mmmm and you think Hank Jr is so good , better check your hearing again

    that's not country

  • montana: I don't agree with anyone getting on stage drunk etc. I guess Conway never took a drink huh? I bet you have taken a drink too and since you have you are not a true person? LOL I do not condone drinking since I don't anymore but drinking has nothing to do with talent. Conway was GREAT but he ain't no Hank Jr. George has straightened up too and was a good friend to Conway. Yeah "It's Only Make Believe" is real country...isn't it?! LOL.

Too bad is right. You have no argument.

  • The reason Conway became country is because he could no longer make it in rock and roll. Country was a real country trubadoor with "Danny Boy" and all the other "Rock Country" songs he performed. How about how Conway loved to talk dirty in songs and sing songs about dirty things? "I'd Love to Lay You Down" a real slow country tear jerker. I guess singing about sex is better than drinking a beer? Listen I got nothing against you but I don't get your comments.

  • tihsreally is an apalling song its woeful sad and sums up todays life for gods sake get a grip lets all try and be happy move on

  • Absolutely fantastic job, you sound so much like your dad, it is uncanny...Everyone loved your dad and we were all saddened when we lost him...Thank you for sharing this song with us...Judy

  • This verson makes me cry. Maybe because I miss Conway.

  • Love you Michael glad to see you here on youtube me Pat from S.C. twittybirdlady

  • Conway's Box Set Was Compiled & Produced by Conway's Widow Dee Henry...Get Yourself A Copy...No One Sings Like Conway...There Will Never Be Another Conway.....He Is Greatly Missed!

  • I really liked this, Michael, if you read this; A great tribute to your Dad.....Keep up the good work. He would be very proud of you.....

  • Both of Hank william Jr.'s parents are dead!!!

What is wrong with Hank Jr's singing?

There is nothing wrong with Micheal's singing, neither!!!

No one can sound like anyone else, completely!!!

Just because we miss Conway & Hank, Sr. so much, we can't criticize their sons because they don't sound exactly like their fathers'!!!

  • I agree loretta !!!

  • Times have CHANGED. Your words lead me to believe you are a Drunk Loser so Keep your Mouth Shut!

  • @loretta1935

Loretta, Conway started out in rock 'n' roll but his true love was country, and it called to him because he wasn't getting the satisfaction in his soul from performing rock 'n' roll. He finally made the switch to country. Hank Jr. started out real country, in his dad's footsteps, which I love that early stuff of his. But that wasn't his calling either. He bucked the system all those years ago & switched to country rock, his true love. Both Conway & Hank Jr followed their heart

  • i think micheal sings great and of course he doesnt sound like conway , but neither does hank williams jr i think hank jr stinks and not everyone will agree so i guess not everyone will agree on michael either,

  • Ok..Hank Jr. does not sound like Conway Twitty. Is he supposed to? Micheal does sound somewhat close to Conway though. Let me tell you something....you don't tug on Superman's cape. Bocephus is Superman when it comes to country. What does Hank Jr. have to do with Conway Twitty or Michael Twitty. I am sure they all think you stink though.

    1) Hank Jr.

    2) Conway Twitty

    3) George Jones

    Top 3 ever in country.

    Read it and weep, loretta.

  • Way to go LT, I love it. You are so right.

  • keep up the good work Michael, you doing a grreat job. and love the twang you have. and hope to see you record some of your own songs. you have an awesome voice and your dad was the best of the best. I miss conway still

  • wow awesome ty for that twang, lol

  • Mr Michael Twitty Singing Hello darlin'

  • Gosh,,, love you too

    Dawn

  • omg

  • Michael you sound a lot like your daddy but there will justnever be another Conway Twitty. BUt don't let that stop you from singing.

  • Sounds a LOT like his father, Conway. Amazing!

  • OMG He sounds like Conway... Well done Michael.

  • In my humble? opinion this is a very fine rendition of his fathers song and a great tribute. He's obviously NOT his father, but , hey, I'd love to ride those coat tails just the same! Hell , who wouldn't ? That man was just awesome and well loved and respected. Leave Jr. alone. It's very hard to be a Jr in this cruel world of comparisons and insults. Oh, and by the way, I don't really like the iiiyyiiii tri either, but bless him all the same and his daddy too , for all the great years and music.

  • I'm sorry ...but this is just not good...Whats with the fine yine yine and try yiiii yiii crap my god!!!!...Conway didnt do that at all...this is brutal

  • Wow! He sounds so much like his father

  • Michael, You Have your dadd'ys flare great to hear you sanging ! You going to be a bigger star then your dad every was !

    LC.

  • Has Michael any albums?

  • A great voice and tribute to his dad!!! Michael is very talented.....runs in the family :) Love to hear this song!! Thanks!

  • Remember Frank Jr. it didn't work for him because of Frank Sr. and this poor guy is hanging on to Conway...get over it and move on I have yet to see a sibling of a giant in music become bigger then their famous parent...Party over dude..go home, buy a pizza and watch dad on the you tube.

  • Have you never heard of Hank Williams, Sr.? His son Hank Jr. by far out shinned him.

  • This is GREAT Michael. Carry on. You are very good.

  • he aint as good as his daddy but he is pretty good.More than i can say about hank jr.

  • my english not so perfectly

but this a best re play from son to daddy

    hope i understand ur words

    nice to meett

    ANGELA=Angie

  • This guy needs to quit butchering his father's music.

  • FAIL.

    CONWAY NUMBER ONE D<

  • Conway would be proud of his son.

  • That is a great job on this song!!!

Besides Conway, it is the best i have heard!!!

    Go, son!!!

  • Micheal, great job!!!

"Hello Darling" was the first thing your father ever said to me (as we made eye contact before he went on stage)--and that if tI didn't watch out, I was going to get them 'burned up" (He was looking at, and talking, about my breasts because I had on a t-strap top!!!) I didn't know that I had already sunburned pretty bad!!!

    (Angola, Indiana, August, 1971)

That was the day that I met "Pork Chop". I flew to Oklahoma City in a few days, & went home with a 'son'!!!

  • michael does have a great voice, hes not trying to sing like his dad but honor him, well done

  • He would make his father really proud.

  • RIP Conway Twitty

  • What a joy to have Michael Twitty paying tribute to his dad Conway who is truly missed. Great job Michael, please keep his memory going!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm amazed, this is very good.

Jeff Bates also did a version of this and though I luv him, he doesn,t sing it this good. R.I.P. Conway.

  • I agree. After hearing Conway do it, nothing else will ever compare. Good job, but not like the King!

  • Michael's voice is a wee bit ropey but true he got a good tone there a wee bitty more practice of the song he will get it.

  • hes alright, and i agree mrs beagle

  • I think he sounds good, his dad would b proud of him...

  • thats yr opinion.. course you have no video sings up for us to tell you how terrible you are... lol

  • I honestly think Micheal did a fine job he sounds alot like his dad, You must realize that his dad was a legend that you will never see the like of in our life times, The musicians and producer Owen Bradley helped make this song a country music classic unlike what you hear today!

  • Wow He sucks you know I met him twice when I was 14 years old and he slapped me on my butt twice. He's wierd and his son Tre is fine as hell.

  • you dumb female you are one who werid conway twitty best singer no anything dumb lady

  • Michael, I think, I accidentally agreed to something by mistake! Please forgive me! Keep working the most greastest song catalog ever! (Add to It!)

  • Amen Cami! I Loved Elvis too! Too wonderful

singers gone way before it was time.I guess, we don't know God's Plan's. I was very fortunate to have met Conway, went backstage thru a friend my Husband grew up with,And he was so warm, kind, and down to earth. He snickered, because I could'nt even tell him my name, I was so in awe, but I got a very nice kiss and hug, and a Big Thank You for coming out to see him. And my S-I-L,got a big surprise, when he sang "Linda" right to her,

    by her side. HUGE!

  • here here, man. I cant believe some people think Mike does it better. All nods to Mike but he doesnt even come close to his daddy soulful voice. Mike has a great voice but not when compared to daddy......... Lastly I am one of the kiddies by the why i.e. the original was released WAY before I was born....

  • Mr. Mike Twitty, Jr. - Keep up the good work!

I remember you and I, riding a golf cart to the stage of one of "Superfrog Production"'s bookings years ago in South Carolina! Close to Loris, S.C.. You did a great job!

  • Oh let him sing whatever he wants. It's obvious he is immortalizing Daddy Conway. He does a good job, but country music ain't country music anymore.

  • Micahel IS NOT riding his dad's coat tails!!! He's simply letting Conway's fans relive the special memories of a great singer that was taken way too soon!!!!! I met and seen Conway several yrs before he died...I also seen and met Michael and his son Tre at a tribute concert and you will NOT find a nicer family!!! How many frigion Elvis impersonators are there and they almost ALL SUCK!!!!!!! At least Michael is genuine with his tribute to let the fans remember his dad!!!!!!

  • He does a fine job on this. Remember, he's trying to fill shoes that can't be filled, so cut him some slack. He's got a shadow to live under for his whole life. At least he's doing something good with his life.

  • I met Conway before he died many years ago. I also seen Michael and his son-Conway's grandson, Tre in concert as well and met them..They do a great tribute in Conway's memory! He sounded better back when I seen him..But, he's NOT trying to BE his dad-he's simply helping the fans relive the memories through his tribute! Let me tell you-TRE-who is sexy as hell..Has a combination voice of Conway/Elvis and so help me-is the young fire-cracker his granddad was!!!! You will not meet a nicer family!!!!

  • thanks for the great post, alot of daddy in there but he's also showing his own too. Very respectful

  • For me Michael sings better in this song !! I like the way he sings !!!
