For the character of Macbeth you just KNOW the writers were hoping to get Patrick Stewart for the part. One of the world's best Shakespearean actors playing what is undoubtedly his most famous character.

It would have been a match made in heaven.

Still, they guy they got was also good.

The only thing that bothered me about Gargoyles was the way the creators played on their strength and weakness like @ 1:41 - 1:43 . The gargoyles are strong enough to pull trees out of the ground and throw cars around but a 5'10 143 pounds, at the most, guy can can knock em down.

They should've made more episodes with MacBeth; about his neverending feud with Demona, how he fit in throughout the centuries, if he ever became a friend of the Wyvern Gargoyles (or the other clans), if he ever found his descendants, etc. He's one of the coolest Disney villains ever, with a sense of honor no longer seen in any TV show!
