Obama will probably spend TWICE as much as Bush did, considering how big this stimulus bill is. I can only what other silly spending spress Obama will go on after this.

It's the great voter myth. "No voter is stupid." or "All voters are rational." really? Then why do we still believe in this silly war on drugs despite all the evidence that it's failing? Why do people keep buying into the idea that we have choices in our political system? We don't! We have 2 parties that are just 2 sides of the same coin. Both spend a lot in Washington. Both send us on silly overseas military adventures. Both are inefficient. Both have plenty of demagogues.

Barney Frank is a joke. Why invite this idiot on anymore talk shows? He was just babbling in this video. "We can't do anti-protectionism b/c the people don't like it." WHO CARES!  You have to do what works. Yes, this is a republic, but sometimes the people become too emotional and don't fact-check, and then politicians, who should know better and research these things, must legislate in favor of the facts and what works. The people don't ALWAYS know what's best, believe it or not.
