@Joernboy If you hated Part 1, then I dunno, you might like Part 2? It's pretty short in comparison and more compact, but ends up having not as good music and voice acting. Part 3, well, if you didn't like the convolutedness of Part 1's story, when Part 3 is even worse.

I mean, it's entirely possible, but I really can't tell how people would react to the rest if they hated the first.

Honestly, what was Shinji Hosoe thinking....this song is kinda nice, but it's not really Xenosaga-y. I really don't get what direction he was trying to take with this music, but it's not suited for the series. I wish they had gone with someone else...and used him for some other futuristic RPG they had.

I didnt like the majority of the music at all, but there were some really great dungeon and town music, like this one. Its perfect for sci fi cities like Second Miltia. Some of this music would really compliment a Star Ocean or Phantasy Star score.

All the in game music from Xenosaga 2 is vastly under rated. I never gave a crap about the cut scene music. This game has one of the more brilliant in game soundtracks I have ever heard. It's punchy, ambitious, unique and fun to listen to. I have no clue why it gets no love. It's VERY well composed.
