I miss the traditionally animated fighting games. Street Fighter IV is great in its own respect, by the animation doesn't quite match the expression of hand-done animation.

@gemini4lyfe3001 That walk forward is because he's buffering the first quarter circle forward for the super, then letting the stick return to neutral so he gets stand short instead of her towards+short normal, so because there's a slight delay between inputting the directions and the short, Makoto will walk forward slightly. It's not a deliberate part of the move that he failed to explain, it's just an effect of the way it needs to be executed.
someone please tell me how to do the kara grab or w.e. and why everytime i do (super 2)abare tosanami after the heavy (slap thing) my opponent can always block during her first kick of of the special going down. and someitmes after my grab i can't even slap the guy cause they're already able to block. i dunno someone please tell me what i am doing wrpong. is there any cancelling in doing abare tosonami? and it could be cause im using a ps2 controller. Kara means to start a new move by interrupting another. So the Karakusa stops the LK from finishing but gain the range Makoto moved forward briefly from LK.
The Fierce Punch xx Abare Tosanami will only work from mid-screen and back. Any further and it won't connect.
Ignore Victriny3's scrubby comment: an EX Fukiage after a regular fukiage (in turn after the Abare Tosanami) is NOT a 100% stun on all characters. It'll work on Remy and Akuma from 0 stun, but only because they have the shortest stun bar. By the way Victriny, nice drops on me on XBL when I destroyed your Makoto with Ryu. And go type "Shoryuken" and "Victriny3" in Google. You will be surprised by what you find. Look through the whole threads. LOL.
well now i have more questions , i currently playing with tanden renki now and i play a lot against urien players , i and always activate the super parry the shoulder and uppercut , but i never seemed to be able to be quick enough to land the ax kick , is there kara trick to this or am i just too slow
If you use super #2 at the end of the super u dash and do a regular uppercut fallow by EX UPPERCUT is another 100% stun move i dont see people use this move at all................is so easy.
By the way if you're wondering how to get the 100% combo from a normal Karakusa fierce setup, it's: Kara Fukiage (using roundhouse kick to kara, not light kick. Kara from roundhouse is harder), dash, Jab Fukiage after the Abare Tosanami, NOT EX Fukiage like the dropping scrub said. Also, nice account switch Victriny. REAL LADY. Played you on that account, and it was the same thing. Dropped on me and later picked Gill when your God-awful Makoto got demolished. Scrub.
1 standing low kick..........2 forward,down,back,middle kick...........3 have to be done in sequence....u can COMBO KARA by pushing your opponent by pressing forward middle punch fallow by KARA......Victriny3
haha finally someone gave me answer , well then i got another question then , i know that when makoto does her short kick into a grab that you can kara in a way that she moves a little bit more foward to give her extra ranger how do u do that ?
Wait uhh! does KARA mean CANCEL? if it does then is "Kara grab" the thing where Makoto does her light kick and then does her grab? so does that "kara grab" or w/e give her extra range?

Lastly, you need to practice the timing of the Fierce Punch after the Karakusa to get it right unfortunately. Too late and they can block.

@SheuhX You have to get the timing right, it's pretty tight but the damage and stun damage is very rewarding, just keep on trying until you get it!

After the LK press Down-Forwad, Down, Down-Back, Back+Any Kick. You do fast enough Makoto will cancel from the LK into the command grab.

When I try this, I end up doing F+LK, or I end up not doing it fast enough because I'm careful not to do F+LK.
