The experience is very much like what we experience here in California. I was curious to know because the ground attenuation is so different between here and there.
This is how clueless use Easterners are about earthquakes! Both the guy being filmed and the cameraman doing the filming just sat there looking as dumb as deer staring at headlights. (Don't get me wrong. I was at my desk at that magic moment, and my reactions weren't any better!)
On the whole, though, I'm glad to be living in a place where I can be clueless about earthquakes and still survive!
LOL...watching Uncle Casey's face was priceless! Now I see which side of the family my sister's "surprised face" comes from!
