Great game! I feel bad for kids who didn't get to see the industry evolve from this stuff till now. The kids that grew up playing games like MW are the lowest common denominator. Online gaming is for ADD, socially inept clowns.

@habbototaladdict45 It isnt! I have a port of it on my GBA, along with 119 other games, and it is hard when you jump sometimes. Dont jump too far or high and u die. and my port oonly gives u 1 life 4 some reason.

I used to play this game several times on my friend's famicom about more than a decade ago and I have to say while the concept and design of this game is very intriguing and wonderful to gaze upon and also very mysterious, it was hard and frustrating as hell to play and I figure I have to give thanks to God for giving us youtube to finally watch an old nes game that we wouldn't have the guts and moxie to go through, but want to see the ending, get completed by someone else!

im having a really annoying bug on the nes version, the keys for level two just DONT EXIST!! i need 3 keys to clear the first level of stage 2, but not a single key is on the map :(

Controls are fine. It's a long, challenging game. Is it the best game? Does it compare to super mario bros. 3? No, but the game itself is quite fun. You also have not played enough NES games if you think dying from falling is bad.

Resident Evil 4 is good because it revived an old series. A for Bioshock, that does seem pretty cool. I'm not saying all new games suck, it just seems like not enough heart goes into games as they used to.

I was going to say that I remeber this game being longer. But that's because I kept playing through it even after it was finished. All the stages change blue on the next go round. I rember beating this game when I was like 10. GOOD TIMES!!!

Very impressive! Spelunker was a very, very difficult game on the NES. The Spelunker seemed to die too easily due to an errant jump. It was too finicky. You have mastered this one.
