The first iridion looked like it got its inspiration from starfox/ hyperzone snes.

This one, again gameplay gfx and music remind me of silpheed.

I live in u.k. and picked this game up cheap on amazon. Easily one of the best gba shmups. I think I prefer Phalanx (gba shmup) to this but I'm really happy to own/play both. Looks great on micro, lovely clarity and sounds loads better through use of headphones.
