@CJOnTheMic actually that has a very definite purpose. this tactics ensures that you are on the same team as other skilled players the next game. in one way it can be seen as cheap since you are stacking the teams. in another way i see it as fair play, since anyone (stronger) could join next game, or I see it as a team captain picking players. but it can be very effective if you choose the right players, thats for sure.

@187BURNZY It really is. The only effective way to play this game is to do that. Attach to a wall and watch your radar for some unlucky gamer holding "run" when they spawn. It should have been blips, but then again it does give more success when you are trying to be sneaky.

well, there is always a counter for camping: flanking. if you have other teammates who are aware of them, you can have some people confront them head on for distraction, and others to come around their blind spots and either get head shots when they pop up or try to take them out from behind. @trymhimself i can understand your feelings. when ppl gang up on you to form an uber posse, its basically unfair for the others. in this game, i dont think i joined any posse, but just happened to get teammates who were smart (taking other roof locations) and spreading out to become more effective. but being "gang raped" is not fun. try talking to ppl after games and adding solid players to build a RDR group to play with. or join a clan; i met some cool ppl both ways.
@MegaDeathstreak try searching around the map for better weapons. try getting the dead-eye boxes if ur playing in that mode. go for headshots. and get good positioning like i did; it makes it easier to shoot without fear of getting killed all the time.

I never tried casual aim. Even when I first played it. I just never used it. And I did for the first time two weeks ago and I sucked! On casual, it's hard to get headshots because there's no easy free aiming. It keeps locking onto the body. My best kill:death ratio on normal is 47-3 on hardcore 37-19 and casual 31-24

@bboydizee TBH i loved the MP. the reason i first stopped playing was because stats became completely fucked. there was (is still?) a glitch that when you played poker (DLC) it boosts your kills by a huge margin. although i play for fun, i also like watching my progress; seeing how well/poorly ive done in a short span compared to previous periods. meh im a stat junky. then when i tried coming back to MP later, no one was playing it. i would join rooms of ... just me. or *maybe* 1 other person.
@bboydizee so yah, first the stats were broken. then i couldnt find anyone to play against. even if i could find 3v3 games or something, i cant really enjoy that all the time. i like having games with as many players as possible, since there are more variables, and lets face it, more people to kill. =) so looking back, i wish i had played it sooner (i bought it a year+ after release) so that was my mistake. and now ive found another game that really excites me: Battlefield (bc2 for now) and BF3.

@Fromon81 yes but at the time i played this game, it would have taken 3 hours just to process (render) the video. that is not including X-amount of takes (sometimes 1, sometimes several) of recording my commentary. its a long and tedious procedure. so adding text was a lot easier and saved me time. though with a new PC i do more commentaries now, but i dont play RDR anymore. but i agree with u.

2:50 I know how you feel. Once in a Teamdeathmatch on MacFarlane's Ranch i was taking behind one of those chicken houses(or whatever) and a teammates was standing right behind me. From this position he shot several times, killing me in the end.

@neintijnxD casual games allow auto-aim *assuming you have your personal preferences set to auto-aim as well. normal/expert mode have assisted aim, but its not as strong as casual and the "lock" can be broken easier. most games i play are either casual or normal mode, and i always use casual (auto) aim settings. so yes.
@3amaksharkas if there are 7 players then the servers dont seem to be down. are you joining multiplayer games by finding them on the map, or by pressing start and selecting from the long list? are you playing at off-times, or playing from a country with few game players?

@Willo3G its a different pace for me, since im used to playing games like COD, but still can be very fun. the problem (for me) is that the games i join are usually empty. its probably related to my PSN region account (US), game disc (Asian) or physical location (JPN). they probably make me connect to the US, which is why no one plays at the time i play. but yes, the MP game can be very fun. i would definitely try it out.

1. connection; you may be connecting to players from overseas and are stuck with shitty lag
2. playstyle; you may be running out in the open and shooting before you should. watch vids, copy ppl. play safe.
3. suckage; you may be right about your self-evaluation and just suck. lol. practice, emulate, practice, play more.

@bboydizee TBH i loved the MP. the reason i first stopped playing was because stats became completely fucked. there was (is still?) a glitch that when you played poker (DLC) it boosts your kills by a huge margin. although i play for fun, i also like watching my progress; seeing how well/poorly ive done in a short span compared to previous periods. meh im a stat junky. then when i tried coming back to MP later, no one was playing it. i would join rooms of ... just me. or *maybe* 1 other person.

@bboydizee so yah, first the stats were broken. then i couldnt find anyone to play against. even if i could find 3v3 games or something, i cant really enjoy that all the time. i like having games with as many players as possible, since there are more variables, and lets face it, more people to kill. =) so looking back, i wish i had played it sooner (i bought it a year+ after release) so that was my mistake. and now ive found another game that really excites me: Battlefield (bc2 for now) and BF3.

@jasa1988 yes i agree. im not mad at your sarcasm, but please realize that i normally run and gun in RDR. though doing the same thing over and over, even if people think running & gunning is the ONLY way to play shooting games, also gets boring and redundant. i try to do different things, which sometimes includes tactics that people dont like. but yah, fuck it, i still had fun and got a nice killing streak.

@Fromon81 yes but at the time i played this game, it would have taken 3 hours just to process (render) the video. that is not including X-amount of takes (sometimes 1, sometimes several) of recording my commentary. its a long and tedious procedure. so adding text was a lot easier and saved me time. though with a new PC i do more commentaries now, but i dont play RDR anymore. but i agree with u.

@neintijnxD casual games allow auto-aim *assuming you have your personal preferences set to auto-aim as well. normal/expert mode have assisted aim, but its not as strong as casual and the "lock" can be broken easier. most games i play are either casual or normal mode, and i always use casual (auto) aim settings. so yes.

@Willo3G its a different pace for me, since im used to playing games like COD, but still can be very fun. the problem (for me) is that the games i join are usually empty. its probably related to my PSN region account (US), game disc (Asian) or physical location (JPN). they probably make me connect to the US, which is why no one plays at the time i play. but yes, the MP game can be very fun. i would definitely try it out.
