Did I hear right in that they make a replica of the Colt Lighning? It is one of my all time favorites, ever since I saw an original at a gun show back in '73.
There are meny good factories/gunsmithes on the market making fine barrels. Pedersoli is definetley one of them. This short video gives an answer why they win so many meadls on international competitions.
No wonder Pedersoli guns are top in the world of black powder shooting. It's amazing how many steps are taken into making a barrel and cannot imagine how long it used to take a single craftsman to make one back in the times of cottage industry gun making. By "asperities" he meant roughness as being flattened or ironed down by a button that acts on the groove. Obviously that shows care from the part of the manufacturer.
