Everybody wanks about hardstyle, how it evolved etc.... But the main thing is, technology moves on, so does sound (speakers, synths etc.) if we would stick to the thing that has already been done, we wouldnt have tracks like these, if you have monitor speakers, you can hear all frequencies used efficiently. In 2003 the speakers werent near as good as nowadays. Music evolves, but it needs the technology behind it to improve.

I've been listening to hardstyle for 5 years. this track is not one of my favorites. I really like the new Heady tracks, and I do thinking that Showtek is going to craps. I also wonder why people call anything made in the last 3 years rawstyle I haven't heard a true new rawstyle track for years. If you say "Oh, this is what hardstyle should be, Heady sucks", come on. Heady is pushing the genre, no matter how you look at it.

@dotMANERS he can push the genre, i think it is good to see that producers are creative and experimental. But I looovee that old school hardstyle. With that (in my ears) perfect bassline. And I hate it (for no reason) to see that people call themselves true ravers because they listen to showtek's new tracks (soft bassline etc, you know). That is my problem. It is not that I hate showtek (altrough it is sad that they changed their style) but it is not hardstyle anymore.

Heady created also a new version of hardstyle.
