@weinerbongo: No, not from what I've seen. In his later years he seemed light-hearted and humble. There's a great interview on here called 'The Orson Welles Story.' He actually had me cracking up! It is funny to see him portrayed like this though.
@weinerbongo There's a famous outtakes tape (audio only) of Welles being grumpy and pompous while recording voiceover for frozen food commercials. It's worth a listen, it'll be on Youtube. Some of the lines here come from that ("Yes, always")
