  • In hindsight I see this match in a different way. Like Randy Savage's title reign, Ultimate Warrior's was overshadowed by Hulk Hogan's presence (double main event at Summerslam 1990 and now this finale conceit). What better way to get Hogan sharing the limelight at the end without a title. There was never a finale when Hogan was on top between 1987 - 1989. Despite not being the champion, Hogan was booked to bury the opponents and conform to a 'political' power-struggle friendship at the end.

  • How i wish hulk and UW are friends in real life..though mushy, the scenes of them holding hands is so touching for the fans back then

  • not sure about all the nostalgia, 90 percent of the moves in this 'match' are bad punches. watch it again.

  • Fruitcakes at 6:48! FRUITCAKES!!!

  • Power looks like Eugene...just a bit

And I don't care what anyone says but Ultimate Warrior was AWESOME!

  • I love how Slick runs in at the end and gets beaten up.

  • @wibassplayer

Every manager got beat up in some way at this at this event.

  • @6:52 cover shot for the february 1991 issue of wwf magazine...

  • Hercules must have felt like a lamb led to the slaughter ounce Tes Debiosie was gone lol

  • Piper is so funny. Warrior n Hogan holding the ropes open. Aww that's nice. No I hold the ropes for you. Awww okay if you say so. lol lol lol

  • i miss the days of only 4 pay per views a year you had time for story lines to develp there was time for people to save a little bit to acautly get the pay per view wrestling should get back to that formula you would get more pay per view buys that way

  • classic WWF Screw wwe! TNA is much better than wwe and now without cena, i bet TNA starts to take raitings from wwe

  • im cool

  • this is way more entertaining than today's matches.

  • With the state of inflation Million Dollar Man is worth about a buck 50

  • Hulkamania will Forever live!

  • Ha at 0:35...

Gorilla: And how many times have we seen the Hulkster get it done, Hot Rod?

Piper: A lot of times...except with me.

    Oh, Piper! LOLZ!

  • this is 91 not 90

  • @VILLNUS187 No, this is Survivor Series '90.

    '91 was Hogan v. Undertaker

  • @MrBigShotXXL your right so what year was warrior, legion of doom and tornado vs perfect and demolition?

  • @VILLNUS187 Same year, good sir; Warrior was the sole survivor.

  • lol@ Warriors kicks from 2:27 and on. XD

  • I remember back then, I would always wonder if Million Dollar Man was really a millionaire, XD

  • I più grandi di sempre, Hogan e Ultimate Warrior

  • It's so obvious that Hogan is the 'leader' of this team, even though he isn't supposed to be. Warrior is the World Champion, but everyone still senses that Hogan is the man.

  • @LockardKevin Hogan carried this match. He did all the work. He even pinned Ted Money. He left Warrior with retarded Hercules. he was like here take Herc I've been whipping his ass for five years now.

  • I feel bad that martel had to deal with warrior and all that bullshit.

  • hercules is that retarfed acting eugene.

  • @ericou812 Hercules is dead

  • i just love the warriors ring act,lol

  • Shouldn't martel turn face for turning on the heel team?

  • Tito Santana and Hulk Hogan...and the Ultimate Warrior! fantastic. the Warrior kicked the crap outta Hercules. It seemed weird to see Ted dibiase and Hercules on the same side they hated each other's guts after Bobby Heenan tried to sell him as a slave to Ted.

  • Considering Hogan and Warrior were the titans of this time...their finishing moves are shit to almost epic levels!!!!

  • warrior is not good

  • @GreyMysterio94 you are not good

  • predictable finish, since you knew Hogan and Warrior wouldn't lose.

  • HOGAN = GOD

  • @Krillep hogan = bum

  • Warrior DID have a HALL OF FAME run.Remember him breaking Hercules chain w his bare hands&dominating him? He pinned Honky Tonk Man in 31 sec after no one pinned him in 15months.He bodyslammed Andre&Earthquake,He kept beating Andre the Giant under a min.He beat Hogan cleanly for the belt WM 6,He had an epic feud w Undertaker in 91' 1992 his career totally plummeted-SAD!!

  • Jesus Christ, Paul Roma was such a waste of skin. He was so pathetic in the ring. He made Warrior look like gold. He had the WEAKEST fucking splash I have ever seen in my life.

  • the wrestlers back then seemed to play there roles great. .they sold the sport much better than they do now. wrestling was just ran better back then. wether its the wrestlers, the scripters, or the ownership. its just not the same anymore

  • we didn't need the garbage they have now back then to entertain us

  • @sariglenn oh yeah man, you can blame a few different people for how it is now though, I cant stand watching Taker or HHH or Cena matches, they all just plod around the ring. It's sad because when Cena was Prototype he really had so much promise

  • Warrior and Hogan....never will be duplicated

  • (3:35) LOL, Martel's like "F*** this, I'm out of here!"

  • @Tubewings Martel was like, ahhh i'm getting my ass kicked.

  • There should have been a Tito v Martel moment.

  • @deltben There was one in 89 survivor series

  • totally wrong that hogan survived instead of letting the warrior have his moment hes their holding his hand, just like he held machos the previous year.

but when hogan was wwf champ he had to be the sole survivor.

hogan went out of his way to make every other wwf champ look week.

  • @crowbar2009

Truth be told, they needed both to survive. Nearly the entire roster was involved in the elimination series so Warrior as the sole survivor would have placed him on a page alone above the rest of the WWF. By making it so that the two biggest stars in the company survive together, they're saying that the combination of the two is greater than any other force in the WWF.

Neither individual is above the rest of the roster, but rather the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

  • He has a million dollars and still can't buy a decent hair cut.

  • and in real life Hogan probabbly made a hell of a lot more money than Dibiase

  • i wish the visionaries have won this match together with the million dollar man

  • This was strange that Hogan and Warrior wrestled each other just before this at Wmania6 and then teamed up here. It seems like it happened so quickly that they reconciled.

  • They really didn't need to reconcile considering after Hogan lost at WM6 he handed the belt to The Warrior and hugged him....

  • OMG! Hogan and Warrior's asses smell!

  • Great job of not selling the Power Plex by Hulkster!

  • What a powerslam by the Hulkster! That's a move that he rarely ever executed.

  • POWER PLEX baby!!!! why did they kill off Power and GLory so quickly?!?!?!?!

  • Piper was horrible on commentary. not quite sure who signed off on that.

  • piper was the best as colour man.....becuase he really got into the matches...

  • simply a matter of preference, I would presume. Personally, Gorilla and Piper, collectively never did anything for me as far as commentary; however Gorilla and Heenan I could listen to endlessly. They were a great combo, Heenan and Gorilla, so when I heard one another alongside someone else, it just was not the same. No Insult to Piper, for those of you that gave a negative rating; however to my ears Piper was horrible alongside Monsoon.

  • Ultimate Warrior was a great entertainer, however, he was not all there. He had issues, and even his agent saw that in him. Look at his interviews.... who ever talked like that? He was excellent to watch in ring, but there is more about someone in the back behind the scenes that we don't know. This is why we as adults tell our youth, stay away from drugs, because these guys did a lot of them.

  • no way i loved the warrior but he got what he deserved with the dvd

  • NO! Don't beat up Slick!! LOL

  • Hanniballecturer, you make some good points, but I must disagree by calling Warrior a bad wrestler. I wouldn't personally say i'm a 'smart mark' but you have to separate wrestler from 'worker'

Warrior did generate a lot of money for the WWE. He was very savvy in marketing himself.

  • Warrior left wrestling healthy and wealthy! He went hard for about a ten year span and made his mark. Cudos to him!

  • tit

  • I miss those promotions on tv because you can follow wrestlers around AWA,Mid South,NWA,Mid Atlantic,SouthWest Wrestling,World Class as they'd jump promotions changing their looks, style names etc.I saw him when he was the Dingo Warrior in World Class he had a good run but his 1st WWF run was Hall of Fame worthy I remember when he broke Hercules' own chain w his bare hands

  • worst bodyslam ever @ 5:08

  • to this day im still pissed off that the fact that the undertaker shouldve been in this match. he gets counted out and not even the legal man. but when the model gets chased out by jake the snake the ref didnt count him out and he too wasnt the legal man.

  • yup the biased refs sticking with the good guys. at 2:31 u can clearly see that the warrior shouldve got dq after not letting the model out of the corner in which was a definite 5 count.

  • Dont' see what's so great about Hogan and Warrior.

Can't sell moves and don't have any good ones of their own.

  • Take a look!!! Take a good look!!!! -Camera points to their crotches- WTF was that all about?

  • Maybe not good technical guys, but it was all about the characters and personality back then which made it so popular. That is missing terribly now which is why I stopped watching the WWF (or I guess WWE now).

  • I agree with the Warrior, he not only had no personality, but no skills either

  • Saying the Ultimate Warrior had no personality is the same as saying you couldn't tell him apart from anyone else.

If you couldn't pick the Ultimate Warrior out of a crowd, you're out of your f--ing mind.

  • Your analogy is ridiculous. By your logic, rocks, trees, etc., have personality, seeing as we can differentiate them. Your analogy also reveals that you don't know what a personality is. The UW 'personality' was limited to grunts, bland B movie assertions of power/strength, and the behavioral mannerisms of a low grade mentally retarded idiot.

  • Personality is the collection of consciously chosen things about you that differentiate you from the norm. Warrior had one of the most distinctive personalities, in and out of the ring, of any wrestler ever.

You can criticize him all you want, but when you start saying things that aren't true, you go from a critic to a hater and an idiot.

  • Your definition of personality is too broad, and it doesn't include any human-specific concepts, other than 'choice' and choice is not at all necessarily involved in personality, whereas elements like temperament - which is biological, are. And as for Warrior, as I told you, he's a walking cliche, ANY drunken high school wrestler could spout his half-mentally retarded nonsense....

  • Choice is a human-specific concept. I stand by everything I've said.

If you think anyone could do the Warrior, watch an interview with the Renegade then get back to me. He failed miserably.

  • but choice isn't necessarily a part of what we define as personality... in fact, personality would be the basis for choice.....as for acting like the warrior: easy: just hit yourself in the head with a brick or get drunk and act like a retard

  • You're talking about chicken and egg now. It hasn't been determined fully what causes what. Nonetheless, I say consciously-chosen because your height isn't part of your personality, but the way you choose to dress is.

Meanwhile, you can make all the exaggerated claims about the Warrior that you want. The fact is someone tried to copy his gimmick and personality and failed miserably. If it's so easy to act like him, then why did the Renegade fail?

  • Again, you don't define personality correctly, and your comments about the warrior prove you're a borderline retard. The guy is about as original as the oldest cliche. Type back, and I'll cut and paste this as my response, over and over.

  • You didn't answer my question. If it's easy to do the Warrior, why did the Renegade try an fail miserably? If I'm wrong it should be easy to answer.

  • I agree with you 100% about the Warrior. He had great charisma and personality. Unfortunately, the biased bullshit DVD was made to destroy him because he didn't allow Vince and the wrestling industry to control him. He looked out for himself instead of taking shit like Ric Flair did for years. Ric Flair had to work until almost 60 yrs old because he threw away his money. He was also a company man. Warrior learned how cut throat the industry was and didn't allow them to walk all over him.

  • is The P of P and G still alive?

  • No, Herc died back in 2004.

  • ah thnx for the info man....

  • bro did ya find on youtube the interview of the combined team of milion dollar man and the visionaries? i want to find that one but cant :(

  • What's even more funny is that Hercules is actually playing fifth fiddle to DiBiase.

  • two of the greatest entertainers of all time

nobody can create tht buzz anymore

  • i love it

  • gotta love the ultimate mullett, and the huckster

  • You knew that it was going to be Hogan and Warrior surviving in the end-way to predictable back then

  • What crap, the least they could've done was have Warrior save Hogan after Power n Glory's special move, not Hogan kicking out of it.

    Total crap!

  • wow, ultimate warrior sucks.

    he REALLY sucks

  • absolutely, the warrior sucked ballsack, he was a bore and a horrible wrestler.

  • speaking of the roster split during the early 90s if it happened: there could have been 2 tag titles - the main wwf one on monday night primetime wrestling and a secondary tag title on fridays or saturday. thus teams like the rockers, power n glory could also hold the gold !

  • i know alot of people dont like the roster split, but i kinda wish we had it during the time of 1988 - 1992. if there was primetime wrestling with the wwf title on monday nights and smackdown on fridays more guys could be world champions for the first time: world champ dibease, rick rude, harley race, jake roberts, piper

  • Bret Hart became the best Technical wrestler after DiBiase.

  • at 2:20 warrior comes in like " HERE COMES THE BOOGIE MAN!!!"

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think they used the format of the final survivors match after this. I think it was a little more wrestling than some of these guys were up to.

  • Dibiase = one of the best technical wrestlers of all time.

  • I knew that match was gonna go from spectacular to OK once Santana got eliminated.

  • I forgot they had the 91' Royal Rumble on a Saturday. I think that was the only year they did that. I remember Summerslam would air on a Monday til' 1995.

  • is this like a tag match or what?

  • jeeeeeeee

  • Hogan and Warrior's personas were based on being unstoppable much like John Cena's today. That's one of many character styles that has been in wrestling since the beginning.

  • And you saw how a sizeable part of the crowd was turning on Cena because of that. Look what happened after he came back and won the Rumble. NOT winning the belt at WM, being pinned by Orton, losing in consecutive PPVs to HHH, JBL and Batista. Let's see how long his title reign lasts now.

Besides, I may not be the biggest fan of Cena, but there is no way his comebacks match those "Kick out of finishing move like it was nothing and beat guy in 10 seconds" we were used to in 1988-1992.

  • Hulk pins Roma with a lousy clothesline? lol

  • It's dull. Hogan got nailed with Power & Glory's main move, and just got up as if it's a pile of rubbish, and Hogan had a bad habit of doing that with others' main moves. BS like that takes the edge off the other guy's main move.

  • Yeah WTF?!

  • Yeah, after kicking out of P and G's special move. Bollocks!

  • he was supposed to kick out. thats the script they had. my point was that it was a clothesline, lol could have at least been his normal finisher.

  • Comment removed

  • You know what else? I also very much like the fact that any of 9-10 guys can be the one celebrating at the end of a PPV, and the heel can be victorious in the main event. Did anyone predict Jericho's win in the championship scramble? Kinda beats knowing the same 2 guys will be posing at the end in my mind.

  • I agree with the comment about Tito Santana. I was never a fan of his, but looking back on it, he probably is the only 'real man' in that ring, if you know what I mean.

  • days of these egomaniacs are well and truly behind us ? do you not know who triple H is he wont do a job to anyone he is the main reason no new stars are being made in the WWE today

  • Probably the most ridiculous match ever. Just shows how Hogan and Warrior didn't want to share the spotlight with anyone (including other face wrestlers). Hogan kicking out of a tag-team finisher? Him and Warrior ploughing through 4 heels in record time? Fucking pathetic! I'm glad the days of these egomaniacs are well and truly behind us!

  • How can you make any comparison? Look at how many superstars Triple H has jobbed to. Rock, Austin, Batista, Cena, Orton, Hogan, Undertaker, Jericho, Goldberg, Michaels, Benoit, Kane, Jeff Hardy, etc. And he never does the "No finishing move works on ME!" routine. Who did Hogan job to in his "glory" days? Warrior and Undertaker. Warrior? Rick Rude and Sgt. Slaughter. Compare how many title contenders there are these days. I do think HHH's current title reign has been too long, but no comparison!

  • Hulk Hogan jobbed to Warrior,Undertaker,Yokozuna,Lex Luger,Arn Anderson,Sting,Billy Kidman,Kurt Angle,Brock Lesnar,Roddy Piper,Ric Flair,Triple h, The Rock etc., And Triple H Always wan't to replicate Ric Flair's many title reigns. Hogan was a five time champion during his first run so he lost it five times. Warrior lost to Rude, Slaughter, Savage, and Undertaker etc,.

  • 1-I was considering Hogan's original 8 year run in WWF. Even as a heel he had a 1-year plus title reign. When he came back, Austin and Rock had taken his place.

2-One of those five title changes was with a crooked ref and other was a stripping of the title with no actual loss.

3-Warrior's "job" to Savage was a count-out and he beat him at WM with a foot-on-chest pin! He also beat Taker in a bodybag match and kicked out of the tombstone.

4-HHH won in an era without title-monopolizing superheroes

  • your a cock who knows nothing these were probs the best days years in wrestling

  • Thank you. Appreciate the intelligent argumentation.

  • Did you ever think that these men worked hard to become as popular as they were? Hogan realized the rising popularity of the Ultimate Warrior, so that's why Hogan agreed to give the belt up to him at Wrestlemania VI. The two of them just had great personalities, unlike today's wrestlers who are nothing but a bunch of muscle-bound morons.

  • Right. Hogan and Warrior never posed or talked about their muscles, and their promos were the most intelligent and articulate ever. And their match effort. Amazing - get beat up for 10 minutes then do 2-3 moves and end it. But I'm happy for you if you choose to dwell on the "good ol'days". I kinda think of them as the days where great wrestlers like Curt Hennig or Ted DiBiase never held titles because of those superheroes. But hey, that's just me!

  • 24 inch pythons thats talkin bout muscles dumbass

  • Yes, in reality, I 'd rather face a Hogan leg drop than a Power and Glory superplex + body splash1!

  • It's too bad that Tito had to be thrown in there as the token good guy to be eliminated. He was far and away the best wrestler on his team.

  • Ted isnt thank god! XD i liked Million Dollar Man him and Hulk had great matches

  • Man I loved Piper's commentary. He show's no non-partisanship whatsoever. Its boderline negligent and hilarious lol

  • hay is there a part 3 to this?? where the egg hatches and dances with meng gene?!! if there is can some1 let me know please.. will appriciate that vid very much!!

  • you do sound like a french ass. no disagreement there

  • But I watched it like you. Most of these guys are now dead before 45 for steroids drugs and alcahol abuse.

  • I cant belive your stpupid ass didnt watch more of this awsome stuff and that u admited u was french...shame on you!! XD LOL

  • You are dead wrong.Jim Duggan still wrestles on tv on a regular basis,Undertaker,Sean Michaels,What's with this semi retirement bullshit either you wrestling or not.Dusty Rhodes,Roddy Piper,Hulk Hogan,Warrior,Ax Demolition,Jake Roberts, jim the anvil, sgt.slaughter, marty jeanette

  • Sherri Martel, Bam Bam Bigelow, "Earthquake" John Tenta, The Big Bossman, Road Warrior Hawk, "Mr Perfect" Curt Hennig, Davey Boy Smith (The British Bulldog), Yokozuna, Dino Bravo, Andre the Giant, Owen Hart, Miss Elizabeth, Sensational Sherri Martel. Go on gogle and write "ICKY PEOPLE: The Most Complete List Of Dead Wrestlers"

  • go back to france you fuck!!

  • good game. like all matches where piper is supposedly the "commentator", had to watch it on mute

  • LOL, Paul Roma gets eliminated after a CLOTHESLINE.....HAHAHAHA!

  • this match was o right not great

  • The model and dibiase, what great heels but nowadays they dont work and about the best we had was regal (that says it all)

    Go Warrior!!!!!

  • Haha good times you know they could of put Hogan & Warrior against 50 guys and you know they would of won with out a doubt.

  • LMAO! I know right? You could put their loss records together and STILL wouldn't equal NEARLY as many losses as any other wrestlers!

  • Warrior and Hogan...2 of the most overhyped wrestlers in history

  • the only thing that sucked about this match is that the most talented wrestler in the match(tito santana) was elimanted from the match and should have survived that could have given him more of a push that he never got

  • Great match!

  • WOW!!!

This brings me back to the good ol' days

Hulk Hogan and Warrior were my hero in the late 80's (I was in an elementary school then)

    Thanx for posting this up

  • Yeah, tell me about it! Same here! In elementary. I remember when they wrestled each other....the WHOLE school was divided on the playground, lol!

Those were some GOOD times as kids!

  • This is great i don't have any videos this far back.
