This is a fabulous series! I don't entirely buy everything he says here but it gives a good understanding of how politicians control the populace (through fear and hatred) which I've known about for quite some time. Also how people are trained in imaginary thinking where, if they can think of a fantasy explanation for something, then they believe it because they believe what they want to believe.

This is probably the most rational and effective war ever. We built strategic and essential alliances in the middle east to stop a "hot war" with the soviets. We put dictators in power to keep control. We couldn't get rid of them, since no one would justify a war against our former allies. I don't entirely buy everything he says here but it gives a good understanding of how politicians control the populace (through fear and hatred) which I've known about for quite some time. Also how people are trained in imaginary thinking where, if they can think of a fantasy explanation for something, then they believe it because they believe what they want to believe.

This is a generalization not every american cares for celebritys and money and new cars. Infact a lot of us hate them, for making a false sense of reality. The T.V shows models and super sexy people and plays it off as normal. And if your not normal take a diet pill, get surgery, do something extreme to fit into the norm's of society.
