When I was fighting as an amateur in Orlando, I trained with Casamayor (He rented out our gym several times in 2005) and certainly can't discount what Corrales says here. Casamayor is a masterful boxer awash with talent, but I highly doubt he has the heart of some of the other guys; especially someone like Corrales who is a very underrated worker.

Corrales was a deaman at the weighin for the Mayweather fight. I think PBF would have beat him on his best day, but you never know. I give credit to Chico for making weight (130) and going through with the fight even though his IBF title was gone and he knew he was going to jail after the fight. Mayweather will go down a great fighter who was never in any great fights. Chico has been in great fights because he always looks for a challenge.
