I am really annoyed by this argument the ALP puts about coalition members who accept spending in their electorate while being opposed to debt. I mean, people in coalition electorates still have to pay for it all...why the hell shouldn't they at least get some benefit from it? If I were a Liberal MP I'd say "We'll go without the pink bats and school hall if you promise that this electorate doesn't have to pay back the debt and therefore gets lower taxes."
There's nothing wrong with a deficit, borrowing allows us to spend more money and grow faster!!
