I swear to God, I remember EXACTLY the same video on our slovak television in 2000 around. It was about the cancer too. But the little girl had longer and more beautiful hair up to her knees. And she cutted it all by herselfl and gave it EXACTLY to a bald boy. Dirty copy of old idea, people in Cannes are not informed at all and this dirty copy should get only negatives. What a shame to use even such a serious illness for dirty tricks!

Just a suggestion, maybe remove your description, the part revealing that its about cancer, so that people can realise it as they watch it. It doesn't take away the affect, i think it just has a little more impact when it is revealed at the time the director intended.

this must have been a young director without children. I don't know how it is in Europe, but how can you leave a 6 year old child at home? in the video the son has cancer, and it would be more traumatizing had the parents seen their little daughter accidently cut her neck with the scissors in the washroom. it's just too fake which is why it has negative viewings. I still gave it a thumbs up because of the concept but maybe grandma opening the door and she runs to brother?

The makers of the film were trying to give a message about cancer and love within families, thus, they weren't worried about giving off the appearance that she was or wasn't home alone. There's no need to over-analyze it.
