Nice poem. I had to strain to understand some of it as I was born in The U.S. But my Mother is from outside Aberdeen, so there is a certain familiarity to it. Hearing you speak reminds me of my Grandmother and Aunts sitting around the table chatting. It's a nice memory.

Getting ripped seems a horrible way for a Cod to reach its destiny. I hope the frigid water numbs them up a bit. LOL
