  • NO,,, Don't change anything!!!!!!!

    Ah..Sigh...

  • Just joking with MaryAnne, Plato193. She will always do it her way, and that's why we love her :)

  • And you should round your 'o' more when you sing 'only you beneath the moon and under the sun'. As Ann from the Interest Police would say, 'I'm serious, and take thing seriously, this is serious'. It's just logic. : )

  • Am I serious?

  • Really nice - try holding onto the vowel sounds more, for example instead of singing "night and dayeeeeee", sing "night and daaaaaaaay" and put some vibrato onto it. Great job!!! x x x x

  • Ysabella.......Maravilloso..! i love this song and your feeling

  • Dear MaryAnne,

You are so beautiful! Using the Holiday arrangmenet from 1939 is precious! I sing the Sinatra Chartbusters version.(Nelson Riddle Arrangemnt from, 1956) which is real tasty too! U R the Best Baby!!

  • I just want to say that this is still my favorite... Of all your wonderful performances this one is the best for me.

  • Classy and beautiful! If I ever get to host Saturday Night Live, I am *so* making you my special musical guest!

  • I enjoyed it, hovever I miss the introduction "like the tick-tick-tack of ythe stately clock etc."

  • "its so good it almost sounds fake! great job!"

    is it really you singing???

if it is, i´m blown up!

    great job

sung by a very talented singer

  • I doubt this girl could ever be lonely!

  • yes this is the best old classic ever wow

  • Still the best..

I know you think you never know what to do during the break in the singing, but that is the best part. No, well, the whole vid is the best part, but especially, well, everything.

    Thanks again, Mary Anne.

  • its so good it almost sounds fake! great job!

  • You excell at these old classics ysbellea, everyone of them that you have produced ! Your PA must know this...so I wonder why you have not done any for so long ? I imagine at least 99% of your fans would agree with me.

  • This is one of your best!!! so good i must say...Love it!!!!!

  • I could hear Cole Porter whispering;Yes,yes yes that's it, perfect. Find that girl!

  • what? embedding disabled by request? why do you refuse to let your best performances get embedded in other sites?

i wanted to post this on one my blog, to introduce my readers to your talent, but alas! i had to settle for "one for my baby."

  • ..don't know why... but seeing you sing this song for the first time... I thought of Ginger Rogers. Man.. you are so talented and a heck of a voice!~

  • night and day you are the one...

  • prosto super! Just wonderful performing, bravo!

    Alena

  • Изабелла очень прикольная тетка...разнообразная

Найт энд дей ,вообше клевый стандарт!!!!

  • Wow! Astonishing interpretation of my favorite song ever! Bravo! Applause!

  • If there was ever a Siren that would lead me to the rocks of my destruction it would be you.

  • what can you say beautiful song by beautiful lady wow

  • GORGEOUS!!! Really enjoyed this one, Ysabella...really stands out. Gorgeous song and you covered it amazingly well.

  • Allo --

What unique phrasing, excellent tone (and recording) and nice, strong projection....

A lovely (and memorable) presentation of my favourite Cole Porter....

    Regards,

    WTT

  • MaryAnne,

I find myself imagining a not too big but very popular dining club with a jazz band on stage and you at the center of the room. You start singing and except for your voice silence engulfs the room with nobody able to take their eyes off of you while you sing this song. Absolutely enthralling.

    Love ya, Lloyd

  • wow what beauty

  • I would crawl night and day to be with this woman but a last this will never be.

  • this is maryanne at her best wow

  • Isn't she always at her best. =)

  • That´s the only performance here in Utube that envelopes Ella´s.

Sometime ago I think they used to call her a ...candy!

  • Maravilhoso!!!

    Espetacular!!!

  • Fantastic tone quality. Every phrase you sang was simply exquisite! You are awesome.

  • You are so beautiful and classy to watch.

  • wow..It gives me the creeps.

What a talent is entering youtube? I saw some other vids of you. Great voice, very goodlooking girl and of you allow it a little bit freaky in visual interpretation but it shows you tackle with the meaning of the songs. I love it. I will watch the rest of your videos too.

    Bye

    Robbie

  • If everyone in America got a fair shot, most of the singing stars currently would be looking for work. Local churches and communities have most of the best talent and Youtube will expose it.

  • wow she has everything a muso wants! She's beautiful and she's a singer...a GOOD singer!

  • Brilliant!

  • Hi

ysabella, you are so beautiful. Your voice is in Germany "HAMMER" ;-))

I´m a female bluessinger from germany and I like your voice!

  • wow she is awsome love it

  • This is my favorite Sinatra song, Thanks!

  • Well done Ysabella!!! Great song - great voice!!

  • You have such a beautiful nose!! Has nothing to do with the performance ofcourse... but how great how you do is already told soooo often :)

  • I agree about her singing and nose. Check out "ysabellabrave has done lost it" for a cute nose trick. Must have a teeny bit of vampire in me cuz I really like her neck when she sings.

  • So nice voice, so nice interpretation. Thanks for sharing with us your sensitivity.

    Gustavo-Rosario-Argentina.

  • she is amazing

  • Perfect. Flawless.

  • I disagree. Her singing is quite nice. But the intent of her loving "you", she's much more intimate with the camera in many other videos. She's focused on the notes and is not wanting anyone at the moment of recording.

  • Wow. I accidentally stumbled on one of your talks, and I have to say that you have such wonderful advice, and you're so very down to earth! And you sing too? You have a gorgeous voice; it's very kind of old-fashioned and rich. I suppose the song helps. Anyway, thanks for being you!

  • How do you spell your name? Is it Maryanne or Marianne. I would like to get it right. I just listen to one of your talks, and the one thing I love about you is that what you see is what you get. I don't like people who try to be something they are not. Love You, Steve

  • Folks, this video is just the best. I recommend listening to it before you log off the computer for the day.

MaryAnne, If I was rich you would have a great career just singing for me and my friends at my mansion. Oh well.....

  • Hi! You have a beautiful voice. I sing jazz like you! Would you see me video????

    CIAO!!! Valentina, the italian girl

  • If I could sing(aside in the shower), I would TOTALLY sing a duet with you!

  • I love listening to you sing <3

  • Finally, hearing the song the way it was written...Thanks!

  • Excatly...really good almost perfect. Only Fred Astaire sang this better lol

  • Girl,.... You Rock!

  • THUMBS UP!

  • this is one of my favorite songs and you have done it very well

  • amazing star quality - mezzzzmerizing!!!!

  • Dear Maryann You are so charming. You have a 1940's look and appeal that is just unbelievable for such a young lady to capture. I'm haunted by this song.

  • I could watch this girl sing all day and all night!!

  • This is still my favorite. When I talk to my musician friends (a drummer last night) about you, this is where I tell them to start. One guy told my I destroyed his day because he spent the rest of it listening to you.

  • omigosh! this is my favorite favorite favorite! ty

  • And Cole Porter too! My dads favorite song. Kudos!

  • gah, you are amazing!

can you sing let's stay together by al green? i just want to see what you do with it.

  • bring out a cd!

  • This genre is where you perfect reaches phenomenal levels! Other genres you do extremely well with, but songs such as NIGHT & DAY...leave me speechless, and I am not one for having no words. Clearly most all the other viewers agree. Bravo!

  • I love you. You are my new role model. pin up sweet heart!

  • you seductress you!!!!....lol...wow blonde bombshell......yahoo...!!!

  • I enjoy your skits, talks, and certainly your songs.

I dont think your Amer Idol turn down was anytg other

than realization you are more Broadway. I'd like to

see you get theatre training, if you're not, and music

as well. You seem to have the drive and passion for it. If you get a chance, try "Just my Bill" and "My

    Man". You'd do them prouud.

  • I feel the same day and night and day!

  • Oh oh.. I get emotional... This is my father's favourite.. Tries to sing it now and then, but he just made 88, being a sad widower since 2005.

He would love you singing that, but he does not know how to handle computers...

  • Only a lady can sing like this. Your old school, Good job this song sends shivers through my body. One of my favorites.

  • Just remember the zany response of "The Mask"!!!

Sing it, baby ... No matter what others may say, you do it, m'lady!

  • mmmmm, I'm content now. I love this song and your rendition is perfect. Thanks ;)

  • Hey,

I was doing some random video blog searchings because im thinking of making my own - just getting general ideas of what they are about and all that jazz (no pun intended <.<)

But have to say I personally enjoy this song and the way your voice sounds matches it really well :). Talent in all its glory. :)

    Liam x

  • First time viewer...first time listener. You're amazing! You don't have the greatest voice in the world. However, your voice is very unique and most importantly, you interpret what you sing extremely well. In fact, your unique style and song expression puts you in a league of your own.

  • you'd be even better than most musical-singers!

  • Thank you for singing Cole Porter songs!

  • Great voice. And you're pretty as well.

  • You're really good. Keep up the good work. You would be pretty good in musical theatre.

  • Thanx mate, that was sweeet!

  • I don't know how many times this can be said, but that was beautiful.

  • Bravo!!! Your radiance knows no bounds.

  • BEAUTIFUL interpretation of a great song. Thank you, m'lady.

Keep up the lovely work...most all of us love it.

  • WOW THIS IS GREAT!

  • night and day as I see it prt 5: In the back corner of the room sit a short man w a cane, his wife next to him "well Cole what do you think?"I think it's just what I had in mind Linda, lets,,lets see what else she has for us tonight"

  • keep blazing that torch ysabella. my favourites keep changing but this is definitely now one of them.

  • In my humble but musically informed opionion, this is your best song. Great song, soulful singing, great visual interpretation, beautiful woman. What's a nice girl like you doing singing a torch song like this? :) Cole Porter would have to be proud. Since I have heard you sing fado I now seem to hear it in everything you sing. It explains a lot, in a way. Wow.

  • night and day as I see it prt 4

the silence is deafinning. What do they think/ do they like her? still silence, then the room erupts w aplause and shouts: wonderful! bravo! bravo! more! more!

  • night and day as I see it prt3

a couple in the back row (out for their 30th anaversary) turn to each other, the wife reaches to her husbands face and wipes the little tear from the corner of his eye and whispers " me too honey' as she slides closer. the song is ending, the spotlight irises down to the singers face then snap, cuts off w the music.

  • night and day as I see it prt2

the hem frothed up around her feet on the stage. all other sounds stop. the waiters too, stop and look up at the stage, the audiance is mesmerized by this vision & sound. "a hunger ,yerning and burning inside of me"

  • night and day as i see it prt 1 a dark room, the sound of glasses clinking.A pinspot falls on a big silver microphone.the band starts, then the voice of the singer:"Night and Day,,you are the one", as the spotlight opens and we see the singer w her blond hair swept up and back, a long white strapless dress w sequnes on the top

  • Ysabella, baby if you are truly singing that tune for real I want to catch a flight and have you sing it in my lonely ear. To good to be true!

  • ur good but not my type of music. spice it up a bit lol.

  • Recently I discovered that we can not access your lovely singing on your web site. It requires us to go back to "You Tube" to listen to your various songs. It was nice to be able to access all your songs on one site and not go to this open forum.

Thanks for all your great music.

  • your voice is beautiful, and i do have to agree with a comment on one of your other videos, you do look absolutely gorgeous as a blonde!

  • Angels are envious her voice

  • Wow! I'm picturing a smoky blues club in Chicago and you're the headliner. It's fun to listen to you sing without watching the video. It really showcases your voice. When I watch the video, I'm too distracted by how darm cute you are!!! lol Keep em coming!

  • hey i love your voice you've got that jazzy blues talent xoxo all the best my dear

  • smoky, sultry, deeply felt. one of your best. please dont stop. its great to see that someone appreciates the old standards.

  • HAD to watch it again. My favorite song of all time and you did it justice. Love ya, babe.

  • my favoriteeeeeeee

  • Your're a sensation!!!

  • Spectacular as always! On 3/9 you mentioned tentative talks about a music career budding. Anything since then. They need to jump on this one. I'd buy that record in a heart beat! Robert

  • I was just about to request this. I absolutely love every inch of you, but especially your voice! You are truly amazing - and if you don't already have a record deal, you should get one. I would instantly buy anything you released. Truly. Musician's honor. :)

  • If I had to rate this for points from 1 to 10 it would be 100 points. Wonderful job Lovely

  • Mend my heart hunney mend my sould ur a lucky girl whose gunna be gold!

    elicia♥

  • Such a beautiful song beautifully sung.

  • Bravo! I'm tipping my hat to you.

  • I just visited your website. There should be a music dvd available there, yes? You are fun to hear and fun to watch. I like those old ones when they're done right.

  • one of my favorite songs.

  • You should try to sing in one of those old fashion dance halls. Big Band, 50's,and 60's, that is the kind of stuff you like to sing it sould like. You do great work.

  • I love the oldtime songs you sing, like this one! I wish I could time travel and live life through the ages, music can give such a lovely glimpse of what an era felt like! :D

  • Beautiful relaxed style. Great job singing one of my favorite songs. Bravisimo!

  • you are so talented...i wish you the best for you..it would be cool if you did a video outside somewhere with a nice back drop.. take care

  • Very nice, pleasant to hear as it is to watch. This is one of the best ones from you again I think.

  • I was once told I was born in the wrong era because I love all this older music so much! I considered it quite a compliment. You do it so well, Maryanne. I enjoy it a lot!

  • This is a perfect one for you. couldn't be done better. Absolutely beautiful.

  • You are a Dream.

  • Brilliantly Done.Love that voice.

  • Beautifully Done. One of your best I think. You have inspired me to try to learn to make music on my computer. (probably instrumental in my case however)

  • That is so good MaryAnne.

  • Love your voice and the style. Pure.

And if you want a tip, you can hold your notes

longer but taking bigger breaths. :)

    Good job!

  • gorgeous hun

  • fabulous!

  • Step aboard the ysabellabrave time machine where we travel back to a bygone era where beautiful women sing us beautiful songs. Hearing you sing always makes me feel like I'm sitting in a steamy nightclub in an old detective novel. I tip my fedora to you, lady.

  • screw american idol, they are not looking for real talent, just whatver mainstream shit that sells, maryanne is to good for them!

  • Cole Porter kicks ummm... is "butt" a permissible word in this scenario?

Especially in your hands, MaryAnne. I know you like modern music in your personal life, but you DO sing this old stuff so darn well.

  • S' Wonderful, S' Marvelous, S' Ysbellabrave

I wish the videos could be downloaded or even just the audio so I could put them on my computer to run nonstop. Would be great to listen to when I drive back and forth to L.A.

  • nice !

  • love your work just keep singing please peace love David

  • youre a blast from the past...

    a splendiferous anachronism

  • Amazing classical voice with great warmth. Something I'd expect at an upscale jazz club.
