@cieramichelle09 It wasn't that painful at all.. i just felt uncomfortable. Like i have said in my videos, take the pain medicine as the prescription says. And as cost goes...it was a lot! lol. Good luck with your surgery!! :)

I can't wait, i've been wearing them 20 months now and i'm going in for bimaxillofacial surgery in a week (29th Jan 2010) the same as you had, so really nervous now but if your results are anything to go by i've nothing to worry about, thank you and you look beautiful :D

I got my braces on when i was like 15(sophomore year) and got them off when i was 17(one month after i graduated). My jaw was actually wired shut for 6 weeks. The surgery was like 4.5-5 hours long and i didn't wake up until i was in the recovery room. My surgery went extremely well, but everyone has a different experience.

yea i did! its already been almost 3 weeks since.. everything WAS awesome until like 2 days ago. all the swelling was gone, but then the right side of my face got infected. now it looks like i had a stroke, but i went to see the doc so it should be all gravy in a couple of days. my teeth fit AWESOME now and i must say the bottom half of my face does look alot better.
What was the surgery for?? Cause the braces?..
