I am 17 years old girl, but I love songs by Kathy Kirby, France Gall, and many others from years 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. I enjoy good vocals like this one, but nowadays there is only a big shit in music and Tv programmes :-(((

Thanks for your comment. If you like good vocals, listen to Haley Westenra. She is a young girl (20's) has a wonderful voice.

I hadn't heard of Ms Kirby until now. What a lovely voice! She does wonders with this beautiful song from the Broadway musical "Do Re Mi". A great BIG "thank you" for posting it!

kathy was a stunning singer and was always so compelling to watch; perfect pitch and diction made her streets ahead of those other 'pop princesses' that were around at the same time.

This lovely song and many more is on the double compilation KATHY KIRBY - "The complete Collection". I'm but now proud owners for this and other CD´s by Miss Kirby to be closed - so much great songs ! That was extensive searching in germany. I'm looking for more !

What a lovely song. It is true To Make Someone Happy is greater than all the applause and adulation. Thank you Kathy for this song. You made many people happy with your TV series that I still remember. Those were the days when singers really had talent and programmes on TV were fit for all the family to sit and watch.
