Will everyone shut up about the warboss and the defiler! He already had two wounds from the previous close combat fight. The ork warboss had cyborg body upgrade. Which gives him a 5+ invulnerable save. Thats why he said he needed two 5's or more. There not little kids who don't know shit about warhammer 40k.

You need to stop spazzing out on everyone and go read the rulebook... I just mentioned it casually anyway I didn't think months later people would still be debating that rule!

They removed the warboss instantly after he got the two unsaved wounds. And you were spazzing out on everyone about how they weren't playing right and how two war gamers that played for many years don't know about Instant Death!

Dave and Dan, quick question: why don't either of you take notes while playing? I didn't see either of you referencing a notepad or scrap paper. That would have prevented many of your "Darn it, I forgot!" moments.

I think Dan underestimates certain units in the Ork army that could have helped him during this battle. For example, Grot Big Guns: any type. BS3 also War Buggy's: very cheap and with great weapons, Skorcha,twin-linked rokkit, twin-linked big shoota. Also the Deff Dredd, the cheapest dred ingame, Killa Kans would been good too.

Grot Mobs, what can you say? Your opponant has to shoot them or risk being tied down in close combat.

There are some army lists that want to have units in reserve for most of the game. Primarily, Ninja Tau. If your opponent "forgot" to deepstrike would you insist that the game rewind so that he doesn't gain an unfair advantage, or would you continue the game, because he declared the end of his turn -

@Ferilian well defiler has dreadnought CCW and those are powerfists, right? so he does have S10 even if there is S6 in his stats :-) (he can't have 12, not really)

@mariahkoko Of course do I know about the Defiler having S10 (as It's max) but the warboss has T5 if I can recall that means that he died one round earlier, as he failed his 5+ iv save. Unless he has Eternal Warrior.
