@AussieJesus16 The AI for napoleon has been updated and is vastly better, not to mention it was harder to code then the original melee oriented combat from the originals. The online is so far the best of any Total War yet. Empire Total War is one of my top favorites, either that or Rome. If you can even get Shogun 2 to freakin run without crashing, and at a decent FPS, it's still just a graphics showcase.

@TheoLemmens dont waste around $100 pounds in that graphic card, is getting old and owned. Yours GT220 is from fall 2009? if you wanna change so soon look all info about graphic cards. Anyway, "im nVidia" look for a GTX465, GTX470 or if you like Ati, the Radeon HD 6870 this is graphic card for more than 2 years on high. Mine GTX285 is from June 2009 and still owning, my DualCore not :p it is important High Procesor today look out too.

I am having a problem with my Napoleon Total War. When playing the campaign and going into battle, sometimes all the textures of the units on the battlefield are all brown or all white. Then after I finish the battle my game crashes...Can anyone help me with this?

@TheMegaOuch Im almost certain you will be able to play it on high with some things on ultra but to really find out just download the demo lob the graphics on ultra and see for yourself.

@Midjo7 well you need steam which is an online appliance to download games, but if you can download that and napoleon you should be able to play without internet just not multiplayer and you will also not get any updates or patches

Okay seriously? The memory type of your graphics card has nothing to do with your mother board as long as it fits in the slot (PCI-EXPRESS or AGP)

@TheGGES You certainly can, 'a ddr2 motherboard' means the primary sticks of RAM in your PC can only be ddr2, but the RAM on a graphics card is built in to the card and unrelated to the motherboard spec. However you should make sure that there is a compatible slot on your motherboard for the card (PCI, AGP etc.)

@TheGGES no u need a ddr2 graphic card because if you have a ddr2 milfboard u cant put ddr3 graphics card or memory in there because it will become unstable, believe me, ive tried

The speed of your graphics card doesn't have anything to do with your MoBo. DDR3/DDR5 are the GPU's internal speeds. All you need to worry about is the connection to the MoBo, is it a PCI 2.0 16x? or PCI 2.1 or 1.1, so on, be sure your graphics card has the same connection type.
