@XXandro MSG is in almost everything you eat or drink these days. You don't even have to look beyond your cupboards. Its also used in the foods from fast food restaurants. In your toothpaste, soda, processed foods, etc. Its not labeled MSG, but sometimes labeled as autolyzed yeast, hydrolyzed protein, and whey protein, etc. Which all contains a percentage of glutamate. Its hard to avoid.
I always thought to cook everything in one pot until I saw your video. Guess it does make sense to add the rice to the chicken stock later because the rice does absorb a lot of the liquid. Thanks for sharing. This is a good comfort food for anytime of the day.
thanx 4 making this video...I live by myself and got sick one day.. didnt kno how to make it until i found this video...thanx it came out GREAT! i'm so proud of myself!
Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a flavor enhancer commonly added to Chinese food, canned vegetables, soups and processed meats. Although the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified MSG as a food ingredient that is "generally recognized as safe," the use of MSG remains controversial. It's been know to cause headaches, and a slew of other health problems.
well you dont really have to necessarily use it if you dont want to, i dont see what the big deal is when there's plenty of other things out there worse for you that get consumed everyday, i mean in asian culture msg is everywhere... but in america it seems to be taboo
i just made me some today. no msg.. and it took me longer to cook the rice. :) thanks mr.ltkman! its my 1st time making it and its really good! i didnt add sugar tho instead i added lime, didnt have any lemongrass either. but its still good! 1day when i find all the ingrediends ill make some again cause im quite impressed with what i made its really good! thank u for sharing!

Hi, what are the 2 sauces that you added after sugar?

i think the first one is chili in oil and then fish sauce you can find them at your local asian store.
