Salt Lake City has such a piss-poor excuse of a downtown area. The place is devoid of any atmosphere, has no flavor, no ambience, no nothing.

If the Mormons would quit trying to force their beliefs on everyone, Salt Lake would be a much more attractive place to live.

They never stalled completely. Only when they couldn't tear down a historic building. Apparently funding has been found (and I don't believe it was ever lost when you see the bank account of the LDS church... in addition to the fact that the new mall is partially being build by taubam... one of the most exclusive development builders in the world. I don't understand this video whatsoever

Thanks Morons I mean Mormons for ruining the atmosphere of Salt Lake City which now I have NO desire to see let alone spend any money there. I have been there two times and bought a Lord Of The Rings DVD at that very mall the second time despite living out of state. The first time I was 6 years old and the second time as a young adult. My Mom has lots of family in that area and the last time we went Mom cleared a lot of major issues which are private.

This mall went broke not too many years after opening.

Utah never learns. I just went to the new City Creek food court and I wasn't at all surprised at how tacky it was. No color and a huge tacky mural on the wall. Tacky tables and chairs, so 80s. Hire a real architect and designer, Utah.

Crossroads Mall was hideous. And when was this project ever stalled? They've always been right on schedule. And the Mormon Church will probably make a LOT of money off of this investment, and then they can help even MORE children with cancer than they could before the project went up.

@josuehero1 I remember they didn't have enough money to finish tiling the floors at Crossroads Mall, they put brown carpet down on the most of the top floors when opened.

It sure was an ugly mall, to match ZCMI Center, lol. The new City Creek isn't much better, very dated and not even opened yet.

The Mormon church has a very expensive image, that they will go to any extreme to protect. Revelation 13:15 "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." There is a false prophet associated as well with anti-Christ. The Mormon prophet probably isn't that false prophet, but he surely is a false prophet.
