this isn't my favorite recording of this piece, but it is by far the most balanced. i have a hard time hearing the tenor part on most pieces, but they are heard loud and clear on this pieces.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's "a HORSE that trembles". At about 1:11 I hear the choir sing HOME, instead of HORSE. Great sound, but it's nice to have the lyrics right.

In the climax, "If you open your eyes..." the second soprano is very present and i have never heard it so preset in a recording of this that I have heard. It really makes the big chord shimmer and have a bit more "mystery," per say. This recording is beautiful.

Well, the only problem I have with schools doing this song, is most don't sing with the raw emotion necessary for the piece. That is what makes this piece magical.
