  • VIRTUAL CHOIR SONG FOR THIS YEAR!!!!!

  • very good version, lovely voices, the sound is excellent.....

I do wish you'd put a little more emphasis, if I can call it that, on some prhases, some sound a bit dull

  • The moving line at 4:41 is so beautiful. I can't tell if that very high, well blended note is a soprano singing or if it's an overtone.

  • this is beautiful

  • this isn't my favorite recording of this piece, but it is by far the most balanced. i have a hard time hearing the tenor part on most pieces, but they are heard loud and clear on this pieces.

  • the sopranos are completely breathtaking at 2:45. this is an amazing video and amazing performance.. major props

  • i'm doing this song for marching band in high school.

  • Thank you Blunderbuss for making this video available. It is a gem to be treasured.

  • Yeah. I hate that clash. We are doing this song in our high school choir. But we are also doing it with a collage choir!

  • 2:06 funnest clash you will ever sing in choral music. More props to the 2005-2006 Widefield High School Choir from Colorado Springs for helping make this song sound amazing.

  • I just got the CD "Kammerkoret NOVA" from Amazon. Bravo!

  • Sopranos at 2:46 are OTHERWORLDLY!! So belltone clear!

  • 2:46 is so beautiful

    I almost cried

  • This is beyond words...

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's "a HORSE that trembles". At about 1:11 I hear the choir sing HOME, instead of HORSE. Great sound, but it's nice to have the lyrics right.

  • this song is great, but the lyrics are a little trippy

  • whitacre didn't write it, it's a poem that he put music to.

  • okay.... The words are a little trippy out of the context of a poem

  • i agree lol but i still love it

  • In the climax, "If you open your eyes..." the second soprano is very present and i have never heard it so preset in a recording of this that I have heard. It really makes the big chord shimmer and have a bit more "mystery," per say. This recording is beautiful.

  • My choir teacher sang this song when he was still in school

  • wow this started out so beautifully... well done! the only tiny complaint i have is that it got a little too fast in the middle. other than that... fantastic!

  • AMAZING song

  • Well, the only problem I have with schools doing this song, is most don't sing with the raw emotion necessary for the piece. That is what makes this piece magical.

  • I sing this with my choir, it's orgasmic!

  • It's CHORDgasmic!

  • You're totally right!!

  • one of my schools choirs did this last year and when they performed it in riverside church, ny i almost died it was sooo gorgeous... hearing this was just like that thankyou

  • Great clean and effortless harmonic movement. Though the conduct doesn't keep with the lyrics like Olaf Choir's version.

  • One of the best songs ever

  • Hej!

Vilket fantastiskt, utrycksfullt "körsound". Underbar musik och stämingsfull video.

    en beundrare i Sverige!

    Åsa

  • I never really understood the formally dressed people swimming around.... but sweet video none the less

  • oh. my. goodness. I rarely like any choir's interpretation of the great Eric Whitacre...but very nice!

  • Nice video :)
