I've found previously that their are several books avalible even more on line about trans/LGBT issues , for those in tiny towns. Then seeking HB/WAPATH info. will aide in ones first steps twords transsition, that kinda how I whent about it.....SIERRA says!!!

I know the small town effect for sure!! I am lucky enough to know the transgender lady who is doing a lot of the TG therapy around here. Believe me I feel VERY lucky, lol. And yes....lots of therapists just stare and nod, lol.

I agree with you on the licensed gender therapist thing, girl. There are more of them out there who are understanding. And if they're not, print out a copy of the HB Standards of Care and get them started! You are looking fabulous and sound terrific, btw. Love the vlogs!

For sure great advice , I'm currently going to an seeing an LGBT theropist , yet alot of times it just does'nt end on a high note for me , and I feel like WTF??, she's an Intern, but their main outreach is for gay & lesbian community , they do have other support groups tho for transsexuals , MTF, I'll be trying to attend them later, also I agree about never take Hormones if not prescribed for you via doc's , thankx SIERRA

FYI: the HEAD of mental health for Kaiser in northern Cal (Dr. Robin Dea) is herself a Trans Woman! ya, how kewl is that! and when i went to the endo for the fist time, the dr had a med student with him. who i later found out was a VERY passable trans woman.
