  • Really good except for that "fifth" position! It's bigger than first!

  • Where are the fifth positions? .-.

  • Needs to achieve a better fourth before pirouettes.

  • wow! I love those arabesques!!

  • asfrr5r4trtftrrttsydygyahayy5rrr rt 4rtgtytytuyusdtuxgugy vhxcyfuyzv

  • Cant believe how she does turn from fırst pos. eeeeee???

  • Weird preparation for her pirouettes ?!

  • GORGEOUS dancer. most beautiful arabesques. but i don't think she ever hit fifth. she took off from first of a really tiny second at one point LOL.

  • I love that tutu

  • ...was she supposed to be turning from first? other than that, she's great!

  • The length of her legs is a little bit disturbing.. :S

  • it was gorgeous, except for her pirouette prep. It was more second than fourth. But really nice! Good fluidity in her movement

  • she wiggles before she plies and pirouettes

  • LOVE her costume!

  • hmm i've never seen the ending done without sissones! i like the change, though

  • so beautiful.

  • we learned this piece today in class and I never thought it was supposed to look this good'!

  • I love this song ~~

  • Those double pirouettes are supposed to done from fifth position!

  • @syslj42 And I suppose that you do this AND that great arabesques, right?

  • good. best version of the lilac fairy variation so far. don't like the costume but who cares about the costume when the dancer is just as good as hell?!!

  • I don't like her costume,but she's really good:)

  • omg love it <3 <3

  • God her legs are beautiful!

  • This is the music of the Lilac Fairy, but in this version of Sleeping Beauty this is just on of the 7 fairies. The 'Good' (Lilac) Fairy in this version is a non-dance / karakter role.

  • beautiful legs

  • it looks like she's dancing on clouds!

  • gorgeous

  • i dont like her arms.... to stiff 4 me...

  • we're learning this variation with some differences in my class.

    her extenstions are amazing!

  • although always credited to Petipa the choreography is actually by Fyodor Lopukhov.

  • Beautiful technique, but there's no love in her movements.

  • I see exactly what you mean !! ....I think its a lack of "musicality" also

  • I am learning a different version of this variation, but this gave me a couple good pointers for the timing in the grand rond-de-jambe and the final attitude à terre. :)

  • xD My dance teacher is going to have me learn this solo. Same song with some differences. I was watching this to see pointers and she looks so beutiful! xD not so much the 5th but her extensions are fantastic!!!!

  • Other than her sloppy 5 position (not my stong point either), she's a very beautiful dancer! Lovely feet!

  • @InuzukaKibaLover yeah she walks alot to get into it too!

  • she has a beautiful arabesque!

  • WOW! shes so good!

  • This is the same version of the variation the Royal Ballet performs. Check out that Marianela Nuñez video that's on youtube.

  • yeahh same version but beetwen soooo bıg much diffurentt nunez ıs fantastic dancerr...

  • I thought it was a nice variation. I thought she had great extensions. And I really like her tutu, it's a bit longer than most and I like the way it flares out to a bell-shape when she does her turns. I think purple would be more suitable for lilac fairy; her costume looks blue or white, however, it could be the lights reflecting a lilac colored costume. Beautiful anyway!!

  • i liked it

  • how she cant close 5.pos. before the turn ıts realy not good I am sorry bıg company dutch natıonal ballet and how soloıst lıke that ??

  • i agree.

  • horrible version, choreography and costume, poor dancer struggling to get no effect,so stupid!

  • nicely done!

but i'm not impressed with her turns from fifth

  • beautiful legs. What a difficult routine executed beautifully by her

  • the dutch national ballet is amazing, great control and feet and extensions! absoulutley beautiful! this is the variation i am doing for my ballet school's spring spectrum, it is very challenging especially the fouettes

  • hah. sorry.

not me. friend on my youtube.

  • Linda no?

  • I actually like Marianela Nunez's variation better. This girl seems a little stiffer.

In regard to Lilac Fairy vs. not Lilac Fairy comments below-

I think the way that llama90291 reacted unacceptably. There are very different variations floating around, and we need to be open to them. Thank you mochabubble and DustPuppyOI for clearing the confusion up.

  • Beautiful legs! Great arabesque *-*

  • does anybody hav the link to the canary fairy variation?

  • whats her name!

  • I thought it was Kumiko Hayakawa, but she is not with the Dutch National Ballet anymore

  • whoever said this isnt lilac is a bag of shit

    XDD

  • well blackminstral may be right. in the PoB version, the lilac fairy did not dance this variation. She did mostly pantomine throughout the ballet.

  • In the Nureyev version used by Paris Opera Ballet (and used by National Ballet of Canada a while back) has the Lilac Fairy as mostly a mime role to contrast with Carabosse.

  • This is not the Lilac Fairy. She is just one of the fairies. The Lilac Fairy in this version wears a long white dress and doesn't dance. So her parts had to be danced by other fairies.

  • actually it depends on the version of sleeping beauty...

  • is it just me or is she off the music at times? she always ends with the phrase, but check it out from about 0:33 to 0:43... something doesn't seem right. Maybe it's supposed to be that way?

  • i agree! But did you notice that she has problems with the fifth position? When she starts or finishs a turn she always slides oddly with her feet...

  • lol, i do the same at every pirouette :-) but many people do, it's easier to turn around then. Nice to see that even professionals have little faults that make them kind of more "normal" ...

  • she has the body and the flexibility and even the long legs but she lacks passion. she did all the steps and transitions were rough but lacking that which can not be explained which few are the dancers that have it...PASSION!

  • Seems that someone doesn't know that "lilac" is a colour!

  • LOL, I was thinking the same...

  • don't like her stage presence....don't know there is something about that just doesn't let me believe it....don't know if you understand what i am tryign to say...

  • i completely understand you! i agree!!

  • She performed very well but I agree with you.

  • I agree beautiful dancer but lacks something special.

  • she do look strange,,

  • She's really good , i mean she is perfect but i don't like this costume for this variation..!!I actually prefer Marianela Nunez costume or even another lilac tutu for this variation:p

  • I thnk she is nice and long limbed but she cant jump very well

  • i looooove her costume. she looks really tall! very pretty.

  • I actually prefer Marianela Nunez for Royal Ballet. This dancer here is very pretty and has such long limbs, but I prefer the solidness of Nunez's performance. I think this dancer flailed a little bit.

  • She's all arms and legs! She moves very gracefully, and her costume is really pretty, though the headdress is kind of huge.

  • i love her, she's really on time an moves very elegantly. the costume is ok, but she's really goooood ^^

  • They change Tchaikovsky's music in the middle! Why?

  • they can't thıs..I dont belıeve ıt ..nobody can change oh god..

  • yeah i noticed that too. it sounded as though it was by mistake though because the next part was normal again

  • she is so tall, but beautiful. I love the Lilac Fairy variation the most!

  • That was nice, but Paris Opera's version is still so much prettier.

  • I wanna know who is she???

  • What's this dancer's name? She did this variation so well.

  • It's Lilac Fairy to most people

  • umm... when she turns, she goes from 4th, and shifts her feet... >.< other wise, shes better than the one from Royal Ballet. i love her feet and nice legs

  • it is the lilac fairy variation

  • hmm. okay. The source I got it from said it was the Fairy Godmother Variation.

  • No, you were right. This is Lilac Fairy.

  • This is the Lilac Fariy variation. I've learned it before.

  • @balletfreak430 Well, she IS a fairy godmother, too. All of the fairies are Aurora's godmothers, and the Lilac Fairy is the head-fairy.

  • This is not the variation of the fary-godmother. Not in this version. Here it is just on of the fary's.
