@thespeed105 the cops on this game don't cheat though. On Gta 4 they do. What's cool about this game is if you shoot your gun in an open crowd and holster the gun. The cops will come in search of the actual disturbance instead of there being some sort of imaginary star system. It's understandable to have a difficult escape from the cops if you're blowing cars, but If you start fights in Gta 4 with no cops around soon you'll gain a star instead of cops just showing up to the disturbance.

@PitbullNL The PSP can be a fun gaming device, I must confess I've neglected mine a little of late, it has a bright clear screen and long battery life, the main complaint I've heard is the gaming experience is too similar to a full console experience which doesn't lend itself well to portable gaming (unlike the bite sized gaming of the DS) it is like having a portable ps2! I have 20 titles for my 1000 series, (including driver 76) there's a PSP game for every taste, a good back catelogue!!

@AimalCool Developers did that on purpose. They wanted to make '76 look warmer, funnier, more laid-back (as was TK when he was 18). They also wanted 2006 to look cold, harsh, emotionally empty (as was TK after he got out of prison).

The last Driver with bikes and shooting up cops was Driv3r lol. Driver 1 was about driving 70's muscle cars really fast with cop cars coming after you as you go around roads with no corners. Oh the fun of '99.

Truly not, the first GTA came out in October of '94, the First Driver came out in June of '99. Yes, Driver did come out first in 3D before GTA, but when GTA III came out, it killed. Then they had to redo the whole thing, then Driv3r came out (which was mint!), and so on and so forth. GTA was the one who started it all and they (Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row, Driver, Mafia, The Getaway, The Godfather, etc.) have their own little twist on them, but they're all based off of GTA.
