  • Have you tried a plasma cutter?

  • turn up the freeking welder omg

  • Forget that last post just noticed the site info in the last vid

  • @Soullessbastard Lots of places in Savannah sell containers. Delivery included.

  • @ImFaceman If you let them ship with cargo you can save on delivery

  • I've checked here in Ga and can not find anyone who sells the containers. If you know where I go online somebody please leave me a message thank you

  • @Soullessbastard let me know to

  • Bravo!

  • here's what I want to know, if you'd be kind enough to provide some answers. How can I get to live in Costa Rica permanently, and what is the cost of living there like? I live in florida now,but would love to stay in C.S. I hear the people are wonderful and the country is beautiful.

  • @justaman6972 You do see him welding bars over the windows dont you? There is a reason for that in Costa Rica. Not exactly a crime free country.

  • um, how would you get out in a fire? if the bars are welded to the container? or is it also a coffin?

  • @fenix310 what is your frying pan made out of STEEL? did the hot fire burn it down? unless you torch it with extreme temp. it would be even safe if the entire thing is made out of stainless steel because stainless steel cant be torch, which means it can stand a simple fire

  • What is the maximum you can cut out of the sidewall and stack 2 high. Also can they be laid side by side and welded togeather. I want 4 side by side and 4 on top.

  • If done in the U.S. how would it meet building codes?

  • this shiping container is from israel zim is a company here

  • Hot in the summer, cold in the winter?

  • @larylich You can insulate these

  • fcking awesome!!! are these things like explosion proof? what about lightning?

  • Do you deliver to the Unted States?

  • @jaster030 Yes, we do deliver to the USA.

  • how thick are the walls?

  • @dannykx80 if your wondering, steel is very strong and sturdy, but the walls of the container are not super thin, but just right.

  • @TheCoD456Gamer indeed.. and you can buy 3" angle iron and weld it the length of the trailer between corners for added rigidity. With the corrugated 1/16-3/32 steel, that will make the exterior top corners supremely strong.. I have basically decided to buy 4 of these from a terminal in the SE US and build myself a nice house with the bottom two in one direction, spaced accordingly to allow the top two to sit perpendicular to the bottom allowing all 4 corners to line up. It's just me and my kid.

  • very cool, i love the craftsmanship. they ar 8ft 6in. wide and 9ft 6in tall.some ar e 8;6' wide and 8;3' tall.

  • Thought those containers are all insulated? So Latin American bars on the windows. Enjoy your place, thanks for sharing.

  • ...no eye protection around the saw ? and the emergency escape if all the windows are fortified, how would you exit if a earthquake or fire twisted the only door ? also make sure your paint finish is healthy to be around long term.

  • what is the total cost of a fully completed home :-plumbing heating insulation and water and electricity?

  • @korn74

Visit my web site and click on products and prices.

  • I guess not all shipping containers have insulation.

  • @WizzleThump I was thinking about that. Imagine in a place where it's -20 for several weeks.

  • gimme a estimate on one that's live able, with some windows to. If you dont mind.

  • When will we learn, all of these so called poor Countries should start using contaniers instead of concrete if needed. It's cheaper, safer & will not crumble during an EarthQuake. Maybe New Orleans/Haiti could use a few.. "knock knock Prez Obama/Haitian Govermment" time 2 wake up!

  • @freesouluniverse actually its time for you to wake up. This is not a new concept, as far as making homes out of shipping containers, its been done since the late 70's, please look it up. The problem is that the US government has not found a mineral or resource that can be stolen from Haiti, so there for they will always be a 3rd world, poor country. Run for office if you want to make a difference and even that comes with its own strings. THE PRESIDENT DOES NOT RUN THE COUNTRY---HIS BOSS DOES---

  • @freesouluniverse I like your user name. :) very cool!

  • they need some home like this in haiti now it will help them get back on thier feet! it would been a good start in times like this.

  • is this in Israel?

  • No, this is in Costa Rica. We do export!

  • Appreciate that containers could be made into something affordable and livable. Inspirational video series.

  • Is this container 2,5mt height? Because I this it's too low I think it wil be better have 3mt height, is this possible?

  • The height is 2.4m. This is the average height for the 20 ft x 8ft x8ft standard ISO shipping containers. They do have 9ft high ISO containers in the 40ft size. But the majority that are available on the used market are 8ft(2.4m) high.

  • @nuvolare1981

depends on where are you actual living. the high containers can only be used in a country, where bridges and tunnels support the extra height!

in europe most of the (railway)tunnels and bridges are too old and you would get stuck with them, so they can't be used and transport to your constructions site must be done by a oversize hauling company.

    i measure 6ft 2inch/1,88m and i dropped containers.

i will build my home with wood, mud and straw. cheap, efficient and greeeeeen!
