  • he the man on the cat fishing videos

  • What rod do you use in this video.

  • @IRaceHorses tangling with catfish rod, just google TWC fishing rods

  • @IRaceHorses they are both good baits, but i do preferr the skipjack

  • your absolutely correct, you do not need a big boat to fish the smaller rivers, however if you plan to fishing the ohio river, id get something bigger than a jon boat and tiller. the main thing is be safe and have fun

  • @akwalung Does Skip Jack make better bait than Chad?

  • I would like to see more catfish specific boats and how they rig them. To me a Jon boat and a tiller motor is catfish specific. Don't get me wrong. It's all good. But those retireing that want to start fishing need to know ( that's all you need ) to have a great time CATFISHING !!!

  • that aint no small cat

  • i have seen many catfishing videos. this is by far my favorite. everyone else is too up-in-your face when in this video you are just cool about it. thank you for your service to catfishers everywhere

  • @fkagiantfish thank you sir!

  • nice video

  • where are you fishing? looks like the ky river just before it runs into the ohio....

man love to fish with you sometime

  • you should try salamis i don no about in kentucky but here in DC it works great for the channel catfish in the potomac

  • nice

  • 20-25 lbs. but couldn't seem to get one of those on camera? Well I hope to see some good stuff later. Good luck.

  • what river was that becuase i have barren river close and green river?

  • wow on 5:32 you have a big bit on other poll

  • @lukesoutdoors he didnt have a bite he had a fish on it to and was gettin 1 in then gettin the other

  • awesome video man, being an avid catfisherman from ky to. is that cold water hard on your motor?

  • Hey do yu ever take ppl out on Yur boat?

  • where in kentucky are you so I can get on some nice cats

  • those are some pretty good fish what size hook did u use?

  • what lb test line do u use?

  • @Empoleon79 65 lb. test

  • @akwalung what river was that?

  • wow all i have to say to this video is BEAUTIFUL FISHING MAN. have another great winter

  • what kind of sinker are u using if u go to the 545 mark on ur video and where do u get them

  • thats some big ass piece of bait u use. what size hook and how many lbs test line u use?? thanks n nice fish

  • Y fish in winter?

  • u r tha man!!!!

  • what kind of fish was that you were using for cut bait?

  • awesome video -we cant wait to get out for the first time this year and do some trolling for catfish in the shallow bays as the hungry cats feed on the spawing crappies in the area

  • i dont do much fishin on the ohio it looks like fun. i do most of mine on ft knox.

  • Awesome video Steve- 5 stars -can't wait til may when the cats run here

  • gets me in the mood for some fishing.!

  • Steve, what oz sinker's are you using??

  • 6oz

  • why are you using 6oz sinkers??

  • i guess i was too lazy to change them, i was at cumberland river last week and i just didnt feel like changing

  • i would never use 6oz not even in a river haha. idk why they seeem to heavy

  • sometimes i have to use 16oz or more when im on the mississippi river or in the spring when the water flowin in the ohio river! the big blues position themselves differently than your flatheads, the blues like the current! and if your gonna get bit , you need the weight

  • i dont see how you would use a 16oz i have a 3oz at my house and its alot of weight

  • well when you fish the big rivers with heavy current and a 2lb skip jack for bait , you need something to hold it down. 3 oz are ok for small rivers or lakes with no current.

  • @akwalung yeah i get it lol i just fish lakes i never fish rivers

  • Nice Fish, Nice Video

  • Do you worry about your boat out there?? If we put a boat out on the Ohio River up here in the Winter, it'd be destoyed...

  • whuts to worry about ?

  • @hereforareasonunown Well, for starters the current is really swift. Much more than in this video. We fish from the banks all winter and you can see the barges struggle to get upstream. But there's literally trees EVERYWHERE, and I mean entire logs floating down, and they come fast. It'd be real easy to damage your prop. I can't tell you the last time I saw a boat out there in the winter....

  • ohh ok sarry i dont fish much in the winter i wus going to go ice fishing but did not get the chance this year.

  • nice vid bubby keep up the good work

  • Great video!!! -NPT

  • Where you fishin at?
