I just realized Niles here has facial expressions and mannerism very similar to Sebastian from Brideshead Revisited played by Anthony Andrews in the 1981 version.
@livdaprano the Frasier joke or my joke? I just meant that there are SO many funny lines in this show, it's quite an accomplishment on their part to top all of them with that line. As for the line in Frasier, I think it's a play on words since those two words sound so alike when you say them out loud. And it's just funny to hear Niles babbling those rather snobby sounding words over and over!
@moonblossom15 Haha :D I did mean the Frasier joke lol, I love Frasier soooo much!! It's really not very popular in England though :( Thanks anyway!! :)
@livdaprano yeah, i know what you mean- i'm studying abroad in england right now, and whenever i mention frasier to someone, no one recognizes it! i'm trying to get the Brits into it though lol!
@moonblossom15 Excuse me for replying to a comment you made a year ago but you are 24 and your friends are possibly too young to remember the series, but Frasier was voted greatest comedy off all time in a poll of British viewers whilst it was still on air.
Watching Daphne's reaction to how Niles looks when he sees her - she looks all coy etc, it does seem like there is already something there already for Niles :-)
Lens a hero i remember going to see the boy in the striped pyjamas in the cinema and everyone was stifiling their laughter when he came on the screen...hard to take him seriously outside the realms of father ted :)
RH98 mainly because it is intelligent play by wordsmiths....its a common play at times adopted by both although frasier has an army of writers V blackadder just having 2.
I love the way Daphne winds Frasier up at the beginning :) Niles "eminent, eminence, imminent" line is just incredible, it reminds me of Blackadder for some unknown reason
Doesn't she look just like audrey hepburn? I think they did that on purpose..lol hope when i watch the vid now they won't mention that making me look like an idiot..let's see!
I find it quite strange that I could foretell that Neils would come back to get his coat in the last scene...Call me Daphne! (On second thought: Please don't...I am male...)
Thanks for uploading the episodes. They are lightening my day ^^
Do they ever finish there coffee?
They always order it, take 2 sips, and leave!

Frasier can't ever let Niles have his moment in the sun : ( But I would say Niles finished off the series a little better off than Frasier.
