Fossil fuels like oil introduce carbon into the atmosphere and biosphere that has been sealed underground. If we plant a tree, then use it for fuel and plant another tree, its recycling. The amount of carbon evens out. If we bring more carbon from underground, but not increase amount of forests, the carbon does not get absorbed back into plants.

IDEAL diesel exhaust will look like a creamy grey.

All those lifted truck re-re's who "chip" their diesels are gonna be in for heartache after a few months, if the diesel happens to ignite inside the turbo because the exhaust still has excess fuel in it......yyyyeah your gonna have some issues.
