@sacari66 Yes and no: if you set the right stick to be the triangle square circle cross buttons then you will be able to attack with the right stick but it will also make you roll if you move it down which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it...

Its Monster Hunter for the psp but you can download and play psp games on ps vita, if you bought it on psn store. Also if and when the ps vita monster hunter comes out on ps vita it should look way better then the 3Ds version, so kids get your facts straight.

Just for the record, assigning right stick to "X square circle triangle buttons" gives the Monster Hunter ORIGINAL controls. In the first game you actually attacked using the right thumbstick.

@NarsSuki we're talking about ps vita game right? if so it is region free so everything will work but if ur talking about psp it wont. in japan they have an ap call UMD passport for ur psp , u download it then u pop japanese psp game in ur psp then it will look up the code then u can dl it from ur ps3 then transfer it to ur vita , i tried us psp game and it wont regonize it but i do have couple of japanese psp umd and it work so i am assuming it might not work for HK psp umd but u should try it

Glad it would be working on a US account. Although it's fairly easy to switch from one PSN account to another without losing your saves in the mem card but it takes 5-10 minutes so it's kinda like a hassle XD

@Warrimonk if u use ur ps3 to download games its a lot faster than using ur vita also 1 memory card limit to 1 account , u either have to re format it or buy different memory card if u have multiple psn account , as for game demo , if u dl it on ps3 as soon as u tranfer it to vita it will delete it off ur ps3 right away

@99thematrix I think it is on the HK store, although I haven't checked personally, but I know there is a JP and HK version of MHP3rd, so it should be there. The best way to get stuff from the JP store is to buy a Japanese pre-paid card for Japanese PS Store, because using your credit/debit card wont work if your account has a fake address. The best way to get a pre-paid card is to go to a website called "Gateway to Japan".
