  • Wow, These Are Beast!!!

  • Rainbird, Hunter, Toro are all great sprinklers......but I HATE impact sprinklers. They don't water evenly, need alot of pressure to turn which alot of people usually don't have, they get stuck, and grit, sand, and rocks build up in the container, and eventually your lawnmower beheads them. Then your left with a tripping hazard because of a hole in the ground. Rotors are great for medium-large areas, spray heads are great for really small lawns under 5-10ft or for small flower/plant beds.

  • well...i have two rainbird rotors and one sprinkler...on one zone. you think i can add another one? i kinda like this one, seems like it does do better in coverage. do these take up more water?

  • i love the rain bird tic...im glad the park has them...soon i will too..

  • rainbird rotary nozzles are the best heads on the market. MORONS look them up!

  • @TheKellybella yea...i guess you obviously lookedd them up if your on this youtube

  • dude is that one zone?

  • Nice placement. This will ensure the lawn dies along the perimiter fence. Film the sprinklers after 1 year, you will have bucket impact sprinklers without tops and failing to rotate due to soild filling the bucket preventing the sprinkler from fully retracting because the lawnmower blew the lid off. JUNK. Using a more expensive and far superior sprinler called a Rotor will avoid all of this and last 20 times longer. Just a Professional Observation from a Irrigation Expert.

  • i like it

  • I use these on my septic system and the work great!

  • Bucket Impact Sprinklers are the most worthless sprinkler on the Market. The Bucket always eventually fills with dirt and debris keeping the sprinkler from fully retracting leaving the top exposed to the careless gardener. He knocks the top of with the mower now the bucket fills faster. Soon the sprinkler cannot retract at all and fails to turn or rotate just sprays a stream of water in one direction only. Takes about a year. Junk, Junk, Junk. If you want cheap you won't be disappointed.

  • @heald269 Well i have to say that i never once have had any problem with these types of sprinklers at all. It is the gear drivens that i always seem to have a problem with.

  • @southernman517 I too have these pop ups, in some cases I still run the older green cased versions. Never had a problem here either. Like you, my sprinkler system failed when I had Toro's Single Stream rotors on it. Those problematic pop ups I don't miss.

  • @MacManJT

I do want to know why your sprinklers are so far from the edge. Do you have sprinkler by the fence or something.

  • @southernman517 These aren't my sprinklers. Though I do have the same ones, mine are only about 4" or so from the fence. With the right adjustment of the trip collars, they work fine. Where the water from one head misses, the water from the the heads on either side of it does get, so I don't really have any dry spots along the fence.

  • @heald269 They also water the lawn more evenly then gear driven sprinklers.

  • @southernman517 You're right. They do water the lawn more evenly than gear driven sprinklers.

  • I need the old style rainbirds like the one in the video with out the front counter weight. Anyone have some they want to sell? IDC if they're used

  • Hunter PGP all the way.

  • With these do u have to not water for as long

  • This is now the private chat room for all rain-bird lovers.
