I have the same tripod...it is awesome. I took it to Cambodia with me. Dynex is "Best Buy" brand...maybe made by RCA or GE.

it's an amazing tripod. I use this as a travel tripod with my SLR and 70-200mm lens and I 've never had a problem with it not being heavy enough. Good choice
