Fail! Aristotle said you needed all 3 to have a succesfull persuasive speach. True, you have to consider which will be the dominant, thinking of the audience. But if you don't consider all 3 aspects in your speach, it will fail..!

How can she say that you have to appeal to one? The whole concept of Aristotle'striangle is that you have to keep a balance between all three. This fact convinces me that her Ethos is a piece of crap yet she is teaching persuassion in Experts Village. The reason why we have such bad politicians is because they only focus on Pathos and do not keep a balance between the three.

Her explanation off ethos is off. Ethos is an ethical appeal to the reputation or credibility of the speaker.
