ya rogues got an AoE its called fan of kives which is good for procc'ing poisons and hitting vanish rogues from rogue vs rogue fights but other than that its not really a viable damage dealer,even unfair advantage,just not up to par with other classes AoE thats one of the main reason rogues suffer in raid dps =| my mains a rogue sadly,lvling a mage and loven it =3

Rogue is pretty much meant for pvp; they may have pve specializations, but that doesn't mean they're great at it. Tell me, while raiding black temple, what good will stealth, vanish, sprint, or any other of these spells/talents do?

l2read i said combat, combat is, for the most part, the main pve spec. No class is "pretty much meant" for pve or pvp, they can all play both... this is why there is more than one talent tree. Wow you are stupid.

you are an idiot if you think stealth/vanish don't play a huge role in PVE, especially when raiding 25 man. Not onl does stealth give you the ability to get right on the boss the second combay is initiated, coupled with the new ability tricks of the trade it allows for instant DPS! Also, ask any class that doesnt have a complete agro dump in pve how much they would LOVE to have vanish.

I guess I'm an idiot because it doesn't play a huge role in PVE. It might help the rogue from dying if he gets aggro, but that's not a big role, just a good way not to die. Anyways, if you have a good tank, you won't need to vanish. Rogues are just about the least needed class in raids now that feral druids do higher dps with a 5% raid buff. Rogues are getting owned right now. If you don't believe me go check out the Rogue forums. Ask a rogue what class you should be and they won't say rogue.
