  • LZ Falcon in the Ia Drang campaign - from my fave book WE WERE SOLDIERS. Before 9/11 happened, I thought US were the "good guys" fighting communist takeover. Then I found out it was all BS. VC and NVA were actually freedom fighters and the US were invaders. What happened in Vietnam (US invasion, martial law and insurgency) happened in my country Philippines only we had fought the US back in 1899-1902 and were ill-prepared. We got our independence 1946 but were still under American control.
