Bravo Tina Sani. This is perhaps the best sung Ghazal that I have ever listened, better even than the original by Bilqees Khanam. Tablay par bhi koi Ustad betha hay. Can someone say what is the raag?
Actually this Lovely Ghazal is not written by Obaid Ullha Aleem, but the Asad Mohammad Khan. He is living is suburb of Karachi, name Gulshan-e-Maemaar. A unique person and humble hearted. He also wrote plays. This is correction for all please!
No, actually, the poet of this poem is Asad Muhammad Khan (I can guarantee that, knowing him personally)... although Kuchh ishq tha kuchh majboori thi also, has been written by Faiz, not Obaidullah Aleem
True, this poem's vocabulary is inclined towards Hindi-origin words. Or even Hindi words if you will. I've always understood this particular ghazal to be more comprehensible outside of the purely Urduphone community. Most ghazals employ high-register Urdu, which may appear too Persianised for most Hindiphones to understand.
yeah, lots and lots of hindi words in this song - anokha, ladla, tan, agan, man, darshan, beeti, nainan, jag (world) and many more. and you got negative ratings for saying as such. strange!
