It's pretty obvious that NRA4ever1399 is a low-grade un-American moron who would prefer us all to be slaves instead of free people with rights. The core American value is that all people have inalienable rights. Even if some people are losing sight of that lately.
Cops often try to trick people into confessing by lying to them, which is legal. However, the "right to lie" that the police have DOES NOT give cops the right to lie to people about their Constitutional rights because such lies are, in and of themselves, unconsitutional. However, cops can get away with lying to people about their rights because it is virtually impossible to prove in court that the cops lied to you about your rights. It's shameful, but true.

DADS often hand over children when a mother calls and says they're supposed to be with me. The cops don't enforce domestic matters. They can't give you legal advice like "you'll look bad in court if you don't hand over the child" (as if the mother owns the child or something)......Check out how I got custody in my case without an attorney and without giving into these abusers of power. ------> HowIgotCustody dot c-o-m or dot o-r-g
weed should be legal anyway..... this country is so backwards. we cook outside, shit inside. legalize alcohol and illegalize weed. funny........ I smoked and drove just one time, was scared shitless because i felt like i was going 80, when really i was going like 40 on the highway. I'll never do that again..... I drank and drove about 50 times, and it gets funner every time.... until I wrecked and got a dui.. thats my story for the day. have a good one. :)
The one thing this man did not include in this video is that an officer may and can get a warrant to search your car, right there on the side of the road if he believes he has enough probable cause. Best rule when your stopped, just comply and let them search the car, if your more allowing to it. they will be more inclined to give you a simple citation, unless youve got an insane amount of whatever is illegal.
cops have said bullshit to me like "Refusing to let a police officer search your vehicle carries a failure to comply charge, resulting in a fine up to $5000 and or 6 months in a correctional facility." MY ASS! He of course let me go and wrote me a $90 ticket for not coming to a complete stop at a neighborhood stop sign, ya know a rolling stop.
Not to worry. On 8th of january the police in Berlin,Germany smashed 5 windows of my car because I had taken a picture of a monument in Poland that morning and another of a monument remembering German atrocities during the war in Tschech Republic the day before
The car was parked orderly, with my homepage written on 3 sides, with 4 papers in the windows informing about my brother having been murdered including my adress and mobile number. They said it was suspicious because of charging equipment
i seen someone pulled over and they told the cop they dident want them to search the car and the cop said that means something in the car and put them in handcuffs then searched anhyways...what do you do then?????? nothing illegal was found but the cop still looked in the car..what do people do about that!?!?!?
I have a question. Is it illegal to record just the audio of your encounter with the police to help protect yourself? Also, if you are knowledgeable in dealing with the police, is such a thing a good idea in general?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
This guy is a fucking bastard. He just helps criminals get away with things. You shouldn't be worried about a cop searching something because you shouldn't have anything to hide.
@NRA4ever1399 A little lesson about right to privacy dickhead. 4th amendment is my favorite. Also, a cop is not my daddy or boss. I do not have to let him or her search for anything. Get it?
@NRA4ever1399 RIGHT TO PRIVACY ONCE AGAIN. The officer is noone to me but a bully. I don't trust a perfect stranger. And besides, whats to stop him or her from putting something illegal in my car? Asshole!! I smoke weed btw and know for a fact that all drugs should be legal and up to the person, not the mother fucking government.
@72281livefreeordie You should trust a police officer, his job is to serve and protect the public. A police officer wouldn't plant something in someone's car. No drugs should be legal and people who do drugs are worthless shits. Drugs do nothing but harm society and our country would be fucked up if all drugs were legal. Drugs were made illegal for a reason.
@NRA4ever1399 you realize that many people die from alcohol and prescription medication( im talking about people that have prescriptions) every year, and that there has been zero deaths from marijuana and no recorded deaths from LSD. cigarettes kill more people than all fatal drugs combined, just because its illegal doesnt make it worse than something thats legal , do your reasearch and look at facts that arent from the same source.
@NapPpkkins147 Hardly any people die from prescription drugs if they follow the directions they are given. There are LSD related deaths because the people that are using it have poor judgment and coordination which causes fatal accidents. The only reason alcohol and tobacco related deaths are so high is because alcohol and tobacco is used much more than illegal drugs. If illegal drugs were used as much as alcohol and tobacco those drug related deaths would be higher than alcohol/tobacco deaths.
@NRA4ever1399 the illigal drug trade is one of the biggest multi billion dollar industries, heroin junkeys dont use heroin just a few times a week. and how many people die in car accidents because drunk people have poor judgement and coordination..
@NapPpkkins147 Alcohol and tobacco are still used more than illegal drugs. The reason why there is so much money to be made from illegal drugs is because they are extremely expensive. Also, most people who drink and/or smoke aren't a burden to society like illegal drug users. There may be stupid people that drive drunk and get into fatal crashes which is why drunk driving is illegal.
@NapPpkkins147 Illegal drugs are still used by less people than those who use alcohol and tobacco. Even if drugs are at their lowest prices ever they are still more expensive than alcohol and tobacco
@NRA4ever1399 Alcohol was illegal once as well. Didn't really work out all that well.
Also, I laugh when you say 'Illegal drugs are used by less people'. I think it's about equal in this country. Plenty of upstanding citizens use marijuana, but then again so do horrible criminals. Same goes for alcohol and tobacco. There is no 'right' and 'wrong' drug. It all depends on the individual.
@Missingee Marijuana was made illegal a long time ago and it still is because people don't need to use it. Illegal drugs are used by less people and there are hardly any, if any, upstanding citizens using marijuana, unless you think some gangster is upstanding. Businessmen didn't get where they are by smoking dope. Some drugs are worse than other drugs.
@Pafoofnik1 You asked why I think I have the power to decide that you don't need to use it so I told you that you should be able to figure out why you don't need to use it, which is because it is very bad for you if you didn't already know that. I can't keep you from smoking weed but it is bad for you and I'm not the first one to figure that out. So if I told you that 2+2=4 would you ask me why I have the power to decide that for you? I'm just telling you what has already been figured out.
@NRA4ever1399 lolwhat? I have cannabis prescribed to me by a doctor for chronic pain. I think you should read up a bit about the substance instead of buying the propaganda that "all drugs will ruin your life because they are BAD".
You have to be a troll. No one can be as ignorant as you are unless they are a troll. I read a couple of your comments and this one struck me "Illegal drugs are used by less people and there are hardly any, if any, upstanding citizens using marijuana, unless you think some gangster is upstanding." Open your eyes, because plenty of people that smoke marijuana are successful artists, actors, businessmen/women, philosophers, doctors....and the list can go on.
@NRA4ever1399 "Marijuana was made illegal a long time ago"?. It's been illegal for less than a century. "It sill is because people don't need to use it" If that's your logic then the only things that should be legal are breathing, eating and sleeping. No upstanding citizens using marijuana? Almost every presidential candidate smoked marijuana. Steve Jobs developed apple OS high. Over 50 million Americans have smoked marijuana and more than 50% of the Canadian population. Get with the program.
@Benns1991 Wow. I'm not talking about people who took a hit just to try it or to look cool when they were in high school and decided not to use it. Marijuana and other drugs only do harm to society.
@NRA4ever1399 So do you just assume everyone who doesn't bow down and submit to cops is a criminal? Also, have you never heard of a corrupt police officer? I live in Saint Catharines On. under the jurisdiction of the Niagara Regional Police Department. The NRP is well known for being full of semi or fully corrupt cops, so I'm not goin to give them any chances to plant evidence on me. Also, not all laws are well thought out or in place for the right reason, for example it's a well documented
@MrZarach777 fact that marijuana was made illegal due to hemp threatening the paper industry, which had the money and power to make marijuana illegal. In reality marijuana is about as harmful as alcohol, and much less harmful then Pcp, Heroin, Crystal Meth, or Cocaine. I only break one law repeatedly, and that law is carrying a concealed weapon. Do I do this because I'm a hardened killer? No, though most police seem to think I am. I carry it because many other people carry weapons, and the
@MrZarach777 police can't always be around to save me. They may catch the person who killed me, but that doesn't really help my corpse, what would help is if I was allowed to carry a knife to defend myself, so when someone attacks me with a deadly weapon I can legally defend myself with equivalent force. None of this was to attack you personally, it was simply to make you think about things from a different perspective. I support people learning their rights.
@NRA4ever1399 Oh just shut the fuck up. I don't let my best friends or friends go though my stuff like it's there own and hell with it if I'm going to let a stranger throw around his power and convince me that it's his job to go though my stuff like it's own.
@KittyClawz1493 I'm pretty sure your best friends aren't police officers you dumb bitch. There's nothing wrong with a police officer searching someone if he is suspicious of them.
@NRA4ever1399 Of course they aren't police officers retard. I just don't want them going through my shit because i look sus. Maybe if they gave me a substantial reason to let me hand over my stuff to them i would however, you would have a better chance witnessing pigs flying than having me hand over my bags and my belongings to cops who screw around with my stuff and treat me like a fuckhead.
@NRA4ever1399: It is ILLEGAL for a police officer to search someone just because the officer is suspicious of the person.
Although they are allowed to FRISK someone for weapons in certain cases, they need at least probable cause of criminal involvement before they are allowed to search.
@NRA4ever1399 Seems like your against the 4th amendment. What i find funny is your the type to fight with people against the 2nd amendment. You are either for the constitution or you against it which one is it. I am a law abiding citizen and i have had cops many time ask to search my vehicle and i always refuse does that make me a fucking bastard or a criminal.?
@NRA4ever1399 The main reason to this,is that searches can get messy. It'll be bad if you're innocent. I do partially agree with you, it sounds like hes helping them by saying to hide the drugs.
@NRA4ever1399 So you say we should keep people stupid, mass ignorance is what this country should be built on? It is not this man that you should be mad at, its what great people of this country in history decided upon during the creation of the fourth amendment.
I don't understand why people don't just let the police search their belongings, unless they have something to hide. Not only do you have to right to request a warrant, you also have the right to let them do a search? Looks to me, some of you would only do it to annoy a cop, I'm sure that's what the cop's think. Either you're hiding something, or you're doing it to annoy them. Either way, it's wrong. Let them search your stuff, let them do their job.
I'm not gonna tell you what to do and I know the law as you can see in my post. It is your right to refuse a search without a warrant by law, but you also have the right to allow them to do the search. So I don't understand why people, like yourself, wouldn't give the police a hand and show them you are not doing anything illegal, unless you have something to hide. Try to think about it from their perspective. They want to do their job right and make sure everything's alright.
Sorry that English is not my motherlanguage. I was trying to say what any normal person would do. I don't know what myopic and exerts mean. I'm trying to think of this from both perspectives. I said from the citizen's perspective that I would let them search me because I don't have anything to hide. But if you do have something to hide, or wanna be a smartass, or annoy cops because you think they're all bad, I completely understand it. But just be truthfull about it..
@member5738: And what I'm trying to say is that what you consider normal is not necessarily what other people consider normal.
And what I'm trying to say, again, is that you are free to let them search if you want to. What you cannot do is tell me that I should let them search.
And it's not because I have something to hide, or wanna be a smartass or annoy cops. It's because I want to follow the law. And I expect officers to follow the law as well.
@Pafoofnik1 just presenting a question here, not trying to offend anyone, but, in the case of a denial of a search requested by a police officer WITHOUT ANY WITNESSES around, and then presented to court, who will have higher credibility? the Officer, a law enforcing individual, or a normal citizen?
@zerocoolojoia Probably the officer. But if you can get him to do something crazy you can get media attention and that always screws the cops over. The media can be annoying sometimes, but when it comes to defending your rights its the best ally you can have.
@SirBladewind Well, more accurately, nearly 95% of the times it will be in favor of the P.Officer, _unless_ you can provide the court where you're being "trialed" that you're more than willing to cooperate with a search even without warrant, but at the "request" of a judge.
Consenting to a search made by a judge, even if only a verbal request, presents more than proof that you have good intentions to cooperate, BUT ALSO that you want your privacy intact.
@member5738 "They want to do their job right and make sure everything's alright." Consider also the following, and as I previously posted, my own opinion, without intention of offense, but: for any reason whatsoever, you are "Mandelized" and your belongings taken away from you. After the officers search on what they're authorized, then they start a warrantless search on your mobile phone. Don't you have there "_PRIVATE_ information" regarding other humans? Not only yourself.
I don't think cops can take any belongings away from you, meaning you never see it back. I have no problem with cops going through my things and checking my mobile phone. If there are any text messages that are send with trust, it doesn't matter because the cops don't know them. I really don't see the problem here. I'm a law abiding citizen and I think most cops are good people. I know four cops.. If I can support them in any way, like a search on myself, I would allow it.
@member5738 I've been arrested for standing on sidewalks, drinking mexican cola because the officer said it "smelled suspicious" even though I passed the breathalizer, and riding a wal-mart cart to the cart drop off area. Cops don't care if you are law abiding or not. Its whether or not they don't like you, are in a bad mood, or generally just want someone to mess with. Maybe you are a nice lookin person, but I'm a little rough around the edges and get judged for it constantly. Is that Justice?
@member5738 Ok then take into consideration the following, even if a far-fetched and wacky "POSSIBILITY": in your good faith and mind, and wanting to spare some "Bucks" you bought a used CellPhone from a friend of yours. In the next random search, the Officer starts searching through your search, meddling around your Phone and triggers a Red-Flag on the FBI DBase that THE IMEI from that phone is the same as used in a BIG drug-deal and then discarded.
None of my friends are in to the drug business, they're just users, all legal here in Holland. So your wacky possibility is not a possibility in my case. If you live in your life in fear of what might happen, you're not living your life to the fullest.
@member5738 ROFLMAO... Lucky us then, I'm from Portugal... Unfortunate for the average American then, since heir quest for "security" reached a point where one individual has to trade a bit of privacy in order to feel safe in some cases... No offense intended though.
On the other hand... I would really love to live there member5738, Holland, from what a very dear friend told me, is a blast. Literally ^__^'
@member5738 I say to them i don't want them to search my stuff because I don't want them to. I don't let my friends rummage around my room or belongings like they own it so why should I let a stranger do it. I don't care who he is, I'm not going to let him go through my stuff like it's his own.
MY GIRLFRIEND HAS A SPEECH PROBLEM & HER IDIOT SON GOT INTO TROUBLE .IN COURT SHE DIDN'T LIKE WHAT THE PROSECUTOR SAID SO TO GET THE ATTENTION OF THE GUY SHE STOOD UP & SAID "MR PROSTITUDOR" "MR POSTITUDOR" & A SMILE KREPT UP ON THE JUDGES FACE COURT REPORTER IS PLUGGING AWAY THERY'RE ALL LOOKING AT EACH OTHER WITH THEIR MOUTHS DROPED WHAT A SIGHT .SHE DID'NT EVEN KNOW WHAT SHE SAID BUT SHE WAS DETERMINED. SO I HAD TO GET UP & SAID "SHE'S GOT A SPEECH PROB" I HAD TO GET BETWEEN HER & BAILIF HA
IF YOU DONT STOP WE WILL BREAK YOUR ARM AND USE THE TASER ON YOU
by thi time i ha peed my self cause i was so worried and i complyed with them they then took me to the cells (with out an adult) and made me take off my shoes and hand any thing i had in my pockets. i stayed it the cell for 12 hours i was then let out i still had these awful brusies
(i just wanted to know if the police had the right to do any of that)
page 2 and these hand cuffs got tighter and tighter and the gave me terriblr brusies that made me unable to use my hands for about two weeks but any way the police got me in to the van and i kicked the inside of the van (there was 4 people in the van i was the only other person i had no adult) and the police stopped the van and dragged me out by the handcuffs and unlocked them but all 4 of the had hold of me and the twisted my right arm behind my back and shouted at me
hi i am 14 i ran away from home to a friends house my nan (who i live with) rang the police and about an hour later the police found me and told me to get in the car (i was still in the house at this time) i refused to go so the police started to drag me out so i started to panic and kick and punch so the police put handcuffs on me and draged me to the car but they could not get me into it so they called for a biger van and they draged me to that but they also draged me by the handcuffs
I wonder if non US citizens share the same right to not consent to searches? For example, if I'm on holiday in the USA, I'm technically under the juristiction of whatever state I'm in, and should have the same basic right, or am I mistaken?
@wccoffee1 Do you know how fucked up the world would be without the police? You're probably some peice of shit criminal that is just a burden to society.
@wccoffee1 Yet without them you would of been stolen from, assaulted, or even killed. You may not like it but they do a job of UPHOLDING THE LAW! So no cops, no law. Have fun with that.
Even if it is dismissed in court, you can never get your bail money back. A lot and actually most police departments do not care if the charges are dropped as long as they get the bond money- They are legal thieves-
You can't be more foolish, haha We the people? More like new world order rules everything about your life! Your are the product not ruler! We are nothing...
can someone please tell me if its illegal to video tape police officers talking to a suspect on my street, i was on my property when i was video taping, i got a call from the police 2 hours later asking me why i was video taping and said i had violated the suspects privacy rights !!! WTF he was on a public street and i was on my property lol
not constitutional rights, but UK has rights documents way older than amerika
i beleive that now its all covered under the EU charter
sad thing is that citizens rights are supposed to be the bare-minimum & recently its become all we are allowed. the UK is a good example with the new war on terror garbage being used to take DNA swabs etc
The police are now officially at war with the American public!!
Are you seriously going to just roll over and just let them win?
They are the LOWEST SCUM, trust me, I should know!
They nail all sorts of bogus charges on people, and often do so just for kicks to screw you over.
This is why I quit the police force, I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy such cruelty against everyday good people, especially when I was being told to comprise my integrity and play their sick games with people's lives.
@OfficerNelson Thats a rather bold statement considering you dont even know the guy. Its sad that there are other Peace Officers out there who have appoligized to us for having people like YOU on their force...A buddy of mine, his father-in-law used to be a Cop, but he quit because he said he didnt like having to "treat innocent people like criminal shit over bad law." Domestic Terrorism at its finest, and your not helping to improve the image of the typical Peace Officer. Find new employment.
@TheBlayzinAsian420 Speaking of bold statements, what makes you assume I'm a rotten cop all because I point out a whining so-called ex-cop who quit his job because he was supposedly "forced" to nail bogus charges on people?
@OfficerNelson Your right your not a Cop. You have big ol fat digusting Gabe Newell on your page lol....go back to playing video games kiddo. Leave the real world stuff to the adults.
@DynaMike1912 Legally, no, no he does not. If there is no probable cause to suspect there is anything worth finding from a search, then he can't. You (are supposed) to have rights. Does that stop them? No. They don't care, their word wins 99% of the time against yours. You have no authority. FTP.
Does this work with the United Kingdom.

Exactly you really think the refusing to consent to search would stop a dodgey cop from putting something illegal in your car.
If they were intending on doing that I doubt refusing to consent would make a diffrenence

The one thing this man did not include in this video is that an officer may and can get a warrant to search your car, right there on the side of the road if he believes he has enough probable cause. Best rule when your stopped, just comply and let them search the car, if your more allowing to it. they will be more inclined to give you a simple citation, unless youve got an insane amount of whatever is illegal.
wheelman1991 7 months ago
cops have said bullshit to me like "Refusing to let a police officer search your vehicle carries a failure to comply charge, resulting in a fine up to $5000 and or 6 months in a correctional facility." MY ASS! He of course let me go and wrote me a $90 ticket for not coming to a complete stop at a neighborhood stop sign, ya know a rolling stop.

@NapPpkkins147 I was talking about illegal drugs such as marijuana, LSD, PCP, cocaine, and prescription drugs used without a prescription.
NRA4ever1399 7 months ago
@NRA4ever1399 you realize that many people die from alcohol and prescription medication( im talking about people that have prescriptions) every year, and that there has been zero deaths from marijuana and no recorded deaths from LSD. cigarettes kill more people than all fatal drugs combined, just because its illegal doesnt make it worse than something thats legal , do your reasearch and look at facts that arent from the same source.
NapPpkkins147 7 months ago
@NapPpkkins147 Hardly any people die from prescription drugs if they follow the directions they are given. There are LSD related deaths because the people that are using it have poor judgment and coordination which causes fatal accidents. The only reason alcohol and tobacco related deaths are so high is because alcohol and tobacco is used much more than illegal drugs. If illegal drugs were used as much as alcohol and tobacco those drug related deaths would be higher than alcohol/tobacco deaths.
NRA4ever1399 7 months ago
@NRA4ever1399 the illigal drug trade is one of the biggest multi billion dollar industries, heroin junkeys dont use heroin just a few times a week. and how many people die in car accidents because drunk people have poor judgement and coordination..
NapPpkkins147 7 months ago
@NapPpkkins147 Alcohol and tobacco are still used more than illegal drugs. The reason why there is so much money to be made from illegal drugs is because they are extremely expensive. Also, most people who drink and/or smoke aren't a burden to society like illegal drug users. There may be stupid people that drive drunk and get into fatal crashes which is why drunk driving is illegal.
NRA4ever1399 7 months ago
@NRA4ever1399 most people who use alcohol do not use it everyday unlike a drug addict. drugs are at there lowest prices there have ever been.
NapPpkkins147 7 months ago

NRA4ever1399 7 months ago
@NRA4ever1399 Alcohol was illegal once as well. Didn't really work out all that well.
Also, I laugh when you say 'Illegal drugs are used by less people'. I think it's about equal in this country. Plenty of upstanding citizens use marijuana, but then again so do horrible criminals. Same goes for alcohol and tobacco. There is no 'right' and 'wrong' drug. It all depends on the individual.
Missingee 6 months ago
@Missingee Marijuana was made illegal a long time ago and it still is because people don't need to use it. I can't keep you from smoking weed but it is bad for you and I'm not the first one to figure that out. So if I told you that 2+2=4 would you ask me why I have the power to decide that for you? @MrZarach777 police can't always be around to save me. They may catch the person who killed me, but that doesn't really help my corpse, what would help is if I was allowed to carry a knife to defend myself, so when someone attacks me with a deadly weapon I can legally defend myself with equivalent force. Let them search your stuff, let them do their job.
member5738 10 months ago
@member5738: That's your opinion, others disagree. The law is quite clear that a person can refuse consent to search.
If you want me to "let them search (my) stuff" just because you think I need to, then go pound sand.
Pafoofnik1 10 months ago
I'm not gonna tell you what to do and I know the law as you can see in my post. It is your right to refuse a search without a warrant by law, but you also have the right to allow them to do the search. So I don't understand why people, like yourself, wouldn't give the police a hand and show them you are not doing anything illegal, unless you have something to hide. Try to think about it from their perspective. They want to do their job right and make sure everything's alright.
member5738 10 months ago
@member5738 : Of course you wanted to tell me what to do. Why else would you have said "Let them search your stuff, let them do their job"?
Of course I have the right to refuse a search. i also have the ability to allow a search, if I so chose.
It's a myopic view to think that everyone that exerts rights must somehow be breaking the law.
Try to think of it from our perspective. These officers want us to give up the very rights they are sworn to uphold.
Pafoofnik1 10 months ago
@Pafoofnik1
But just be truthfull about it..
member5738 10 months ago
@member5738: And what I'm trying to say is that what you consider normal is not necessarily what other people consider normal.
And what I'm trying to say, again, is that you are free to let them search if you want to. What you cannot do is tell me that I should let them search.
And it's not because I have something to hide, or wanna be a smartass or annoy cops. It's because I want to follow the law. And I expect officers to follow the law as well.
Pafoofnik1 10 months ago
@Pafoofnik1 just presenting a question here, not trying to offend anyone, but, in the case of a denial of a search requested by a police officer WITHOUT ANY WITNESSES around, and then presented to court, who will have higher credibility? the Officer, a law enforcing individual, or a normal citizen?
zerocoolojoia 10 months ago
@zerocoolojoia: I can't speak for anyone else. In my case, it will be the audio recording I made that would probably carry the most weight.
Pafoofnik1 10 months ago
@zerocoolojoia Probably the officer. But if you can get him to do something crazy you can get media attention and that always screws the cops over. The media can be annoying sometimes, but when it comes to defending your rights its the best ally you can have.
SirBladewind 10 months ago
@SirBladewind Well, more accurately, nearly 95% of the times it will be in favor of the P.Officer, _unless_ you can provide the court where you're being "trialed" that you're more than willing to cooperate with a search even without warrant, but at the "request" of a judge.
Consenting to a search made by a judge, even if only a verbal request, presents more than proof that you have good intentions to cooperate, BUT ALSO that you want your privacy intact.
No need for the media ;D
zerocoolojoia 10 months ago
@member5738 "They want to do their job right and make sure everything's alright." Consider also the following, and as I previously posted, my own opinion, without intention of offense, but: for any reason whatsoever, you are "Mandelized" and your belongings taken away from you. After the officers search on what they're authorized, then they start a warrantless search on your mobile phone. Don't you have there "_PRIVATE_ information" regarding other humans? Not only yourself.
zerocoolojoia 10 months ago
@zerocoolojoia
If I can support them in any way, like a search on myself, I would allow it.
member5738 10 months ago
@member5738 I've been arrested for standing on sidewalks, drinking mexican cola because the officer said it "smelled suspicious" even though I passed the breathalizer, and riding a wal-mart cart to the cart drop off area. Cops don't care if you are law abiding or not. Its whether or not they don't like you, are in a bad mood, or generally just want someone to mess with. Maybe you are a nice lookin person, but I'm a little rough around the edges and get judged for it constantly. Is that Justice?
SirBladewind 10 months ago
@member5738 Ok then take into consideration the following, even if a far-fetched and wacky "POSSIBILITY": in your good faith and mind, and wanting to spare some "Bucks" you bought a used CellPhone from a friend of yours. In the next random search, the Officer starts searching through your search, meddling around your Phone and triggers a Red-Flag on the FBI DBase that THE IMEI from that phone is the same as used in a BIG drug-deal and then discarded.
Try to imagine the officer reaction!!
zerocoolojoia 10 months ago
@zerocoolojoia
None of my friends are in to the drug business, they're just users, all legal here in Holland. So your wacky possibility is not a possibility in my case. If you live in your life in fear of what might happen, you're not living your life to the fullest.

sad thing is that citizens rights are supposed to be the bare-minimum & recently its become all we are allowed. the UK is a good example with the new war on terror garbage being used to take DNA swabs etc

@LegallyLawless You quit the police force? Which one? What was your badge number and last name? Or are you full of shit, like I expected?

@TheBlayzinAsian420 For some reason I find it hard to believe you're an adult yourself, much less a productive one.

If you have an outstanding ticket for drunk driving, how long does it stay on your driving record if you never pay it?

Bullshiiiiiiit.
Police walks up to you with no evidence and asks to search you. You then say no.
Guess what. You saying no is massive grounds for him to search you.

@DynaMike1912: Sorry, but you are wrong. But, hey, don't believe me. Instead, believe the courts:
"a defendant's refusal to consent to search cannot establish probable cause to search. " Source: 835 F.2d 1406

@DynaMike1912 Legally, no, no he does not. If there is no probable cause to suspect there is anything worth finding from a search, then he can't. You (are supposed) to have rights. Does that stop them? No. They don't care, their word wins 99% of the time against yours. You have no authority. FTP.
