My dog is well trained and would never go off the property when I'm not with him and thus would never even touch someone else's animals. This has been proven time and again, as he, in the years I've had an open yard, has never run away and never had an incident with the neighbors of any kind.

@Cautela He is obviously not entirely happy that there was a death, and he's a good person for it. I saw no punishment, he told the dog to go to his cage where he wanted him to eat the chicken, and rightfully impressed (even though the dog can't understand) that if he ends a life he should make it count (telling him to eat it since he killed it)

lol i dont know about ya'll but bubbles don't put up with any bs around his property. He seems like a friendly dog but protects his property. I had a dog similar to him, friendly to people and other dogs in most cases. But he would kill a bird and chase a cat if it was on our property. The dog is doing what its suppose to do for all of those saints out there that think a dalmation is suppose to be gold fish. I love bubbles ;)

Do you know what happens to dogs who are allowed, or encouraged to attack and kill other animals? They end up killed for it. A hunting dog trained for such a purpose is one thing. A PET attacking and killing an animal in the backyard because its owner allows it to do so is another. It only teaches the dog its ok to attack and kill other animals.

Contrary to what chin may believe, I don't relish in the killing or harming of ANY animal. I'm fine with people disagreeing with my views and actions, but I DON'T feel someone has the right to tell me I'm wrong without any legal backing. Of course sufficient fencing is the only legal requirement. I appreciate you actually being reasonable.

What's more, My dog's digestion has already adapted to eating possums so that isn't an issue either. I don't consider it a big hazard as an owner, and that is up to my discretion. It's not illegal where I'm from, it's not really dangerous to the dog, the possums are dangerous and do a lot of damage, and it doesn't affect the dogs disposition or temperament towards people really. He's still a wonderful, well behaved, sweet dog (even towards the cats!) but he just hates those possums for some reason. I honestly fail to see anything wrong with it.
