I've been listening to them since doppleganger first came out and I use to like heavy metal/screamo voices. I don't fancy it anymore and am more of a classic rock and blues rock guy. I just wish the fall of troy made the switch along with me.

@33awol It grows on you. I was really turned off by the screaming in TFOT's music until I listened to it more often. I'm still not as accepting of it as I am with the screaming in, say, La Dispute, but I certainly don't hate it as much as I used to.

Emo is a stupid label that neither of these bands deserve. Infact, emo does not exist to be honest. Most music classified as "emo" is just post-hardcore.

If you like TFOT, though. You should check out At the Drive-In, The Mars Volta, Coheed & Cambria, Circa Survive, Tera Melos, and Just Like Vinyl.
