Kes is in my opinion one of the best films in world. I just watching it over and over and become smarter and more knowligable about cinema. Something like reading Kafka or Dostoevski, similar to their novels in this film I find and learn more and more new real things about/in life every time I watch it.

@laggymam Wrong about this time Idi Amin expelled the Uganden Asians. most found sanctury in the uk. were do you think all the Asian shopkeepers came from. Yorkshire was a mill town so you had many Asian workers in the textile mills,Polish mine workers, refugees who fled from Hitler during ww2. Kes is a film and when it was made they didint include black ,brown,chinese ect faces. because they didnt want to upset people like you! who only liked to see darkys on the black and white minstrels show.
